KFC Double Down Zinger!! / myLot

Wow! KFC Launched a variation of the first double down burger(original recipe). I like this sandwich because it has no bun! haha I love my meat and well that is the reason why i love KFC. they have tasty chicken and its quite unique, right?! Imagine my favorite Zinger with no bun and twice the chicken fille was used as the bun! I am all excited to go and have some for myself!!! Has anyone tried this already? Do you think its insane to create a burger or a sandwich with no bun?

hi chiyosan. i was about to start a discussion about the double down zinger as well. good thing i saw your discussion first, lest i start an unnecessary one. lol! anyway, i did start a discussion about the double down sandwich before it was introduced here in the country. here is the link, http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2295553.aspx. anyway, i haven't personally tried the double down zinger but i'm sure i will like it since i do like the zinger and the original double down sandwich. perhaps, i'll have one for dinner later. lol! cheers!!!

I haven't tried this one but I bet this is also good as the original double down. KFC is really amazing in making new specialties and i can say they are unique because of it. I am still broke now so I cannot afford to buy this one.

it is better than the original double down for me.. =) that is because kfc zinger is not as salty as i find the original double down to be. =) try it and i am sure you will be craving for it than you think. hehe

Hi there Chiyosan! I haven't tried it yet but my son loves it so much. We don't have KFC here in our province and the nearest one is about a four-hour ride away. I would love to try it if it's available next time we go to KFC.

oh.. that's sad nanayangel. i sure hope a kfc gets to be put up in your province. it is really good but i must say its not that much of a worth it if you have to travel 4 hours just to get and try some. =) bless you!

Hi chiyosan, I wanted to let you know that I recently tried this beast of a sandwich, and what a beast it was! Having no bun was actually a very enjoyable experience as I could fully enjoy that great KFC taste of fried chicken that we all know and love. The bacon, cheese, and slather of mayonnaise was like a flavor explosion in my mouth. I did not miss the bread taste at all and found it hard to order a second one haha. In all honesty I wish more restaurants would offer sandwiches like this outside of the box, because it really adds variety and keeps me going back. Overall I couldn't recommend the Double Down Zinger more. If you enjoy KFC's chicken - it's a beauty of a sandwich.
