For those who don't know him, Rodrigo Duterte was the mayor of Davao City and now the vice mayor. If he would run President for the next election, I will vote him. I am a Davaoeño and I know how good he is. Every Davaoeño love him. For those non-Davaeño, would you vote for him?

I found Mr. Rodrigo Duterte interesting especially about his background in politics. I've heard a lot of news about the mayor of Davao City. As early as now, let us get to know already those who are aiming to be in the position of a president. I will also vote for him if I find him worthy for the position. I still have to do background check. And by the way, next year we will be having a convention in Davao City. So it is timely that I will be able to travel to Davao City, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte's place.

And who is the Davao City Mayor by the way? I'm sorry I don't know. Yes, I would like to see the different tourist attractions there in Davao. I'm hoping that I will be able to go there. I am really excited now.

Our current mayor here is Inday Sara Duterte. She is the daughter of Vice Mayor Rodrigo Duterte. The first and and youngest female mayor of our city. Everybody here loves the Dutertes. She defeated Cong. Prospero Nograles.

Actually, he is currently our vice mayor. I agree with you that we should also have to get to know those who want to run for president in the next election. Their political background specifically. Let's see who deserves to be our next leader. Good to know that your convention will be held here in Davao City. Try also to see our tourist attractions here. I hope you will like our city. Have a nice day ahead!

I know him being the mayor of davao city and I think he is an iron fisted kind of person when doing his job as Mayor of Davao. Although it did good for the city to straighten up and develop but I think for him to really make it to Malacanan he should start introducing himself to the public more often or perhaps he could ran as senator or congressman first to really open himself to the real arena and test his ability to lead other politicians like himself. It is hard for a popular person like him to really decide to just jump into presidency bid unless he has established a good network all over the Philippines.

He has been offered to run before but he did not accept it. He is really an iron fisted mayor. The people of Davao are very impressed on him. I have read some comments on internet saying Duterte for President. Would you vote for him if he will run someday?

I would if I can see him more often like being active in non Davao concerns. I think he should prove himself not only to Davaoenos only but to the whole country. I think his accomplishments might help him boost. I feel that if he runs rather prematurely he might end up like Mr. Gordon who has the potential to being a good leader but he lacks the network he needs to bolster his campaign. I know Davaoenos would for sure support him but up to what extent can that support go if it is on a national level he will be bidding for. I suggest he start preparing for it by building his support network. So I would hold on to my vote yet but there might be a possibility that I would vote for him depending on how prepared he really is.

I am not from Davao, And I have never seen the place myself - But I have heard so much about the place and how it was made into a peaceful City. I guess What the country needs is a strong leadership. My thoughts though was that there are people who are good at micromanagement - when they are given roles to macromanage, they do not deliver as much as they used to. But its just my two cents; I have yet to see who would be the candidates for the next election - Afterall Noy still has a long way to go. heheh I guess its too early to say now.

You have a point there. It would be better to run first as congressman or senator before on presidency. If he would run someday, he needs more exposure so that other people would know him better. Thank you for dropping by! Happy mylotting.
