I really missed the very cold weather

A pleasant day dear fellow mylotters, I was watching a late evening news when I heard that the temperature in Baguio City was now at 17 degrees. After hearing that, I have told to my sister that I really missed that coldness. Wherein, I really missed the very cold weather that I have experienced when I was living outside the Philippines. As the temperature from the previous place where I have lived before was terribly cold. That due to a very cold weather, a smoke will be seen coming out on your mouth while talking. Another thing, that due to that coldness, you need to cover your ears and wears some gloves for you not to feel freeze. How I really wish that the weather here in Manila area will be somehow as low as 15 or 12 degrees.

I don't think it will ever be as cold as the province. Metro Manila is a metropolis. A jungle of iron and concrete. They absorb a lot of heat and release them during the night when it's suppose to be cold. Plus, fewer vegetation compared to province.

Hehehe you right, friend. Metro Manila is a jungle of iron and concrete. But I think there is a remedy on it if all the cities required to plants tree's in every side of the roads or street's...It may not be distraction to any building. This will also absorb the carbon dioxide from transportation... The only tree's we found on the street was little by little cut by MMDA. I don't know if those people in that branch of Government will love the environment or hate the environment...

I don't have cold weather. I have rainy season. I like rainy season. It brings coolness and fresh. I have after 3 months in drought, I am not to wait for the rainy season. I really missed the rainy season and I think it's the same as you missed the very cold weather. I incidentally live in an island where fresh water is scarce. Everyone will fill or accommodate their tank with free fresh water that fall from the sky. The rain which is being collected used to wash the clothes or water the flower, so we can save water during the rainy season.

I also miss those days when I travel to the province. I love the weather not just the cold weather I feel but the people there who are very friendly and simple. Manila is so hot just like here in Cebu. The hotness level is like we are inside the oven. The sun is so direct especially at noon. Good thing that our school is air conditioned.

Yeah I love the cold weather. It is very silent and cosy. I love the fog, helps to avoid getting noticed so you can wear whatever you want and you don't sweat.

was in baguio during the last long weekend, on our last night there, it was freakin cold that i was shivering though i was wearing a jacket and wrapped in blankets. i was with a Canadian friend of mine yesterday and we were talkin bout that and she did ask me bout if it gets cool in manila (we were in makati at that time). all i could say was, "i wish!" lol. but then again, it should be colder now even for manila standards. -_-

I hate cold weathers. Here in Saudi the temperature is usually around 12degrees at its coldest and I am usually redundant during those periods. I prefer temperatures around 25 degrees.

I love cold weathers! It really makes my sleep good at night. And I don't get headaches. I wonder why Manila and near provinces are still hot. It's just a few more weeks before December and it's still hot!
