In today's world, there have been a lot of us that have been bullied. There have been a lot of us that have been made fun of and judged by how we look or how we live. I speak from experience because as a kid I was severely made fun of due to me having a learning disability and by me not being able to physically do other tasks and activities that other kids could do. All through my life in elementary and middle school, I had the love and support from several teachers that enjoyed getting to know me and that enjoyed having me in their classes. When I was told by different educators that I was not going to be able to do other things in life, I had confidence and the courage (the guts) to say "yes I can!" If you have been bullied all of your life, I understand because that is tough and I can relate to how you feel because as you grow up you may not see the people or person who has bullied you as a child. I see many people that have bullied me and they have kids and they are going through tough situations in their lives. I am here to tell all of you people that have been bullied to stand up for yourself and don't let other kids or other people tell you that you can't do things in life because if you have courage and confidence in yourself, you can do what it is you like to do in life as you get older. Has anybody here been bullied like I have? How and When was there a time that you were bullied?

I remembered when I was in Elementary School, I was bullied by my seniors. They used to pull my pigtail, seize my food, ask me money, pull my cheeks, and the other rude things. I tried to fight, and we used to involve in a fight, and it used to end at the office where our teacher blamed us. Poor me, my teacher didn't listen to my reasons. Those were the worst school days I've experienced. When I'm getting older, I paid much attention in this case. Especially when it comes to the beginning of school days. Usually seniors treat freshmen badly, and bully them. But it's me who always don't agree with this kind of system. In my country, this "legal bullying program" is called MOS (Introduction to the new school), and it often ends with a scene where seniors asked freshmen to do illogical things like bringing such unimportant things. Well, it's introduction to the new school, and it's not introduction to the new way of bullying right?

School is one of the hardest things to go through in life. For me it was anyways. Bullying takes a toll on kids at a young age and really messes with them emotionally and physically. I've always been a bigger person and I am just now n high school and finally getting accepted due to being a amazing football player.

Yeah I remember a kid of 7th grade I guess hanging himself from a tree for being bullied. And guess what the reason was? He was g*y. Everyone has the right to decide what they want to be. Silly sh*t bullies.

sorry that you were bullied, I was as well. I was bullied in 7th grade and it was really bad. I would cry myself to sleep every night and be a complete mess about going to class the next day. It was only in art class that I was really bullied, but they were relentless and never let up for a moment. They tore up my art work, constantly made comments to my face and just were really nasty all the time. The teacher never did anything, I don't even know if they were in the room half the time. It was horrible and those things really do stay with you forever, but I'm glad I went through it, it's done more positive than negative in the long run.

I myself have never been bullied, but I remember a girl in elementary school that was bullied everyday! Three girls in class would stand on the toilets and peak over at this girl, while making fun of her on the bowl. The name calling was horrible....They put her down so bad. I hated it. I felt SO bad for her, I had no choice but to stop it. This girl had NObody to defend her. She didn't deserve to be treated like that. She never bothered anyone. She kept to herself and those 'scumbag' girls in class, didn't care. They were heartless. Me and that girl became friends actually. We talked in class everyday, after that last incident. It's funny ya posted this because I have thought about her, thruout the years....Always wondered about her. I'm glad to hear that ya got over it and moved on. The "yes I can" attitude is definitely a plus!

I have been there done that!!! I used to be a fat kid so I used to bully, not everybody (I was a nice kid) but the ones who used to mess with me. Then I lost a lot of weight and became the target for bullies. Now a few years later I still get bullied, not because I am thin but because I am a Gandhian. I follow the principles on Gandhi of Non Violence so I never get into fights, never raise my voice until very very necessary and laugh simple things off. Often people mistake it for my inability to defend myself and try to bully me. But I am bringing a change by being a better person and who knows someone may get inspired. I am doing my bit to make this world a better place. So I just ignore the bullying.
