GM also propose such plan for those owners who has their motor vehicle sitting idle, at least have them to make some money for you. The plan is about renting out the car, at least earn $10 per hour for the rental time. The insurance will be selected by GM, to ensure in care of accidents, or whatever happen, you will get your compensation of market value of your vehicle. This plan might benefit you to earn some extra cash, while some people from out of town, they want to rent a car to go around, or sightseeing. The question is, would you do it? Such plan only in selective city.

I don't think many people, regardless of the income opportunity, would be prepared to loan out their car to a stranger..Car hire companies might not like the idea, either. There have been car sharing schemes set up in some cities that enable members of the "Club" to pick up a reserved car in selected location on a per hour basis..I'd see this idea taking more of a hold first..
