Have you guys seen Benetton's latest UNHATE ad? From what I know, they want to promote peace and love between different culture, views and races. So what they did is photoshopped some images from various world leaders and printed them in a way that they are actually kissing. President Obama is not spared from this ad as well as the Pope and Imam. Due to this, they received quite a huge reply to pull the ads back. What do you guys think of this issue? I know Benetton want to be creative and bold but this is definitely taking things the wrong way. See my shared link for more info. http://popwatch.ew.com/2011/11/17/benetton-unhate-campaign-obama-kissing/

I'm sorry but i find this revolting. I am sure benetton had a lot of fun with it, but he did not use his head when he started with this.

I know what you mean. I think there are a lot of ways to promote peace and understanding between countries with different cultures and beliefs but this one is taking it out of the line :(

I thought it is quite original and very funny :P People should learn to be more open minded and that jokes are jokes. I don't understand why there is always someone who makes a big deal out of everything that was just a joke.

I think it is nice that we finally get to see the compassionate side of Obama. Yes, he is kissing another man, but at least he's not trying to stab him in the back or throw him under the buss. As far as we know obama prefers making out with another man, especially since 'unhate' would be a concept that michelle obama could not understand.
