It's really hard to fully trust someone on money matters especially if it's a business. Sometimes even your relatives won't really be honest on it. I am not really sure if this kind of system will work, but why don't you try having a computerized software system where all sales and inventories must all be entered into it. Then you have to check/audit everything at the end of every month.

Yes I do have this software to track for our income since it's a kinda internet shop and I always know that she took money. Is it okay if she gonna pay for the money that was gone?

What I always did is I let them go and make some alibis. I didn't tell them the real reason coz I want them to realize it by themselves unfortunately they did not. Maybe next time if I hired someone I will let them pay if they do the same.

If you can prove that she has really taken money then you have every right to take it back or deduct if from her salary.

It depends on the person you would let to handle your cash, because now a days, its rare to find people who has respect and deep honesty to his/her boss. As for me, i found the right ally trustworthy enough to hold my cash for me. I'm not saying that my experience is perfect, because i've experienced it, a former employee of mine, has stolen my money without being caught for a long time. Thanks and be careful who you choose.

If you are suspecious of everyone except yourself, then you just have to count the money yourself, and guard your cash register 24 hours a day, since everyone hire by you or work for you steal your money. May be you can do all these work yourself too if possible. Go figure!!

If I can do all these stuff by myself I'll surely will but I really have lot of things to do and this one is not my top priorities. No thoughts in mind on how to deal with these....whether I deduct the money from her salary or let her go?

To be honest, i always prefer to trust somebody when it comes to money.I don't like to see that situation you mentioned. But you have to face it, and i suggest you to make a record of the money when someone is handle with it.If possilbe ,you can also set a Webcam to keep watch on the counter.

I do have a webcam and software to track for our income that's why I'm so sure that they stole the money. When I know that they stole money I kick them right away but in a nice way that seems like nothing happens. I always make alibis. Do you think it's fine to be frank to them?

well to handle that situation on my opinion its better not leave the counter, its really hard to trust someone when it comes to money matter even our closest friend can betrayed us because of money. I've experience that before, now its really hard for me to give my trust when someone barrow money from me and never showed up after taking my money and changed all his contact number and moved from another place. So, its really hard to trust someone when it comes to money.

It's hard for me not to leave the counter. Do you have any idea how businessmen deal their businesses where they just stay in their office? Your help is much appreciated.

I think it is not good to trust other people in case of money. Now people are in found of more and more. To have more and more money sometimes they will cheat you.People will not give any consideration for the values. I repeat that money is a dangerous thing which can change any ones mind in a single second. So be very careful while handling with money.

Hi there... Do you seriously mean that you let someone handle the cash and that person keeps stealing? It is so easy to find out... Next time when you're gonna employ this person, just count cash before he/she handles it. Then leave the place for 5 precise min... When you return after 5 min, send that person away on some errand and re count the cash... You'll get to know... Note: Don't let anyone handle your cash, if you don't trust the other... Good Luck!

Find someone who is very religious, have faith in God, and fears God he/she will not do anything bad because God is watching his/her actions. They are very rare nowadays, but they can be found, you just have to search for them diligently.

I could only think of inventory as the best way to know if somebody is taking something out of the counter. We never trust anybody to sit in the counter, it's always been me and my brother. If my husband or my brother's wife is there, my brother would usually take the money every three hours and then check the inventory during closing time.
