Sepp Blatter's racism comments have again come for huge condemnation from players all around the world. I think there was absolutely no need for Sepp Blatter to make any of those comments on racism. Time and again he has been shooting with his mouth and ending up in controversies!! His latest statement was: There is no racism, there is maybe one of the players towards another, he has a word or a gesture which is not the correct one. But also the one who is affected by that, he should say that this is a game. We are in a game, and at the end of the game, we shake hands, and this can happen, because we have worked so hard against racism and discrimination. What do you think of his comments? Cheers! Ram

Nothing can be made to kick out racism, as it is called nowadays. This happened since people noticed that there are differences between them, so this will never stop. In my opinion, the majority of the people are "racist" in some way, no matter if they will make discrimination based on color, religion, welfare, mental ability, looks or any other aspect. Personally, I think Blatter is a very good politician, who says many "intelligent" things and lies about obvious things. Of course there is racism in the game, and nothing will make people think otherwise. Even if the majority won't admit it in public and won't make those remarks in public, but inside of him there will be always this thing which he puts people in different categories, not necessary based on skin color.

I think you are right that racism is definitely there in the game. But if you are a person in a responsible position in the FIFA organization, you need to be careful about what you say. The timing and the wording of his remarks was distasteful. Cheers! Ram

Absolutely my thought process. But he got a lot of brownie points for conducting the world cup in Africa. So I guess that did his standing a lot of good. But probably this is also an indication that there are not too many choices in the football administration these days!! Cheers! Ram

The way Mr. Blatter handled things over the years makes me wonder how he managed to stay in an important position for so long. He is certainly not a person to look up to, at least not for me. I guess the majority of football fans would say the same when asked about Blatter: corruption and many strange ideas.

Exactly my thought process. There was absolutely no need for Sepp Blatter to make any statement on this topic at this moment. But he just seems to have this habit of making these noises every now and then!! Cheers! Ram

Either he is in denial or he has no clue about what is going on in the game. To think someone in his position would say something like that is a disgrace to the game. They should come down hard on players who are guilty of such charges. I think he should just resign as the president of FIFA.

Absolutely, it is a disgrace to the game. I think he just needs to hold on to his tongue. And he needs to get a proper PR guy write the lines that he needs to speak. Cheers! Ram
