What Are Your Wildest Dreams?

What are your wildest dreams that you have? It could be something you wanted to be as a kid or it could be a dream that you have to this very day. I want to become a musician, a singer/songwriter. I took voice lessons years ago but I gave up on it because I didn't believe in myself but most of the days I still fantasize and have a burning desire to want to live out this dream. I hope to be a successful band that writes great songs and has a great sound. I always think I'll never be a decent enough singer, that I could never write that good of songs, and I'm worried the sound will never please me. But that dream is one I've had since Middle School and I want to do this more than ever. What are your dreams of things you want to do?

wow,dream,my dream is to have a clear dream or a goal to take into action.
i have a lot of hobies,playing piano for some easy pieces, singing some songs ,taking pictures with single lenz reflex camera(i'm saving money to buy one),do some DIY about electronic products...but none of these come to my dream..but i do had a dream when i was in high school.i wanna be an english teacher(i'm chinese).i don't want our chinese learning English just for tests and tests ,i want to chage the way they learning English.i want to tell that there 're many things you could do through english( just like now i'm responding you),it's an useful tool.but i don't think i will be a "good teacher" in any high schools.As long as students have to deal with tests,i won't be a good teacher.
ps:what kind of music do you like? have you anything to share with me?

I think if you really want to be a teacher and it's a passion of yours that you should go for it. I wouldn't sit on a dream like that when you have the power to make it come true. It's not like singing where a good part of it is having a natural ability to be able to sing. I think you can definitely achieve your dream if you want to. I'm glad you have all these hobbies, I used to have hobbies like playing piano but I just don't love it like i used to. I hope you can get your camera soon. and yes I love a lot of different kinds of music, my favorite is rock in general. my favorite band is The Killers. look up All These Things that I've Done, is one of my favorites by them and it's also a big hit of theirs.

My wildest dream is to win in the lottery, so I could escape from poverty. I could also help a lot of people especially my relatives.

thats a lot of people's dream! ha, I think everybody on the face of the earth would love that to come true. my dad always buys lottery tickets and he always has hope he's going to win. yeah it would be nice to never have to worry about money again. plus you can give back to charity and things like that, really put it to good use even outside yourself and family.

I used to sing. And I took vocal lessons. Loved music. Never knew I had a voice til I went for State musical finals in my senior year of high school. When the judges graded me on my song and voice I got a 98%. Could have knocked me over with a feather.
I never really knew I had a voice. didn't pick up singing until 10 years later. I met a band and would meet up with them and wind up singing a couple songs with them.
Everyone had always said I had a voice. When I finally begged my husband to be my manager he just laughed and I guess I am one of those shrinking violets and just gave up.
But not before I did finals in a Reba McIntyre song where you had to have a voice style comperable to hers. I come in 3rd place.
that pretty much made me happy to know I did have a voice.

thanks for sharing. It's nice to hear when people go after their dreams. I'm glad it worked out well for you and it must feel great to have accomplished what you did. I'm sure you can continue on even further in this if you still want to.
