Birthday feature

Do you guys think we are missing this feature here
Off course discussion like today is my birthday should not be allowed as there would some one birthday every now and then
but at least we can wish them on there profile comments section

hey, birthday features be like birthday boy have to find his hidden cake in the order to make his complete his birthday....cheers

no not like that
but just a simple as facebook have and some forums have like they give alerts to friends
i was thinking at least we can wish our fellow mylot that way on his/her special day

well i haven't seen any changes in mylot yet
I hope the admin at least think of adding some features

yes if mylot team manage to do that it can be great feature too and it will help them too.

I don't know about it, but mylot should changes so much in its profile section. A birthday feature will not help out. There should be more customization. A birthday feature will not only help, because people don't visit anyone's profile that often. There should be notifier too, which will notify today is this persons birthday, and other things.
Though we already have alerts but it dosen't come up until there is any message from admin.

It oblivious that if there is a birthday feature then there would be some kind of notification too
what the use of a birthday feature if there wold be no notification 
we hardly visit our friends profile i only check them whether they have logged in recently or not

I don't think that this feature is of very high priority at all. If someone wanted their birthday generally known, they could always put it in the HTML sortie on their profile or tell any friends by PM.
This sort of feature is very often suggested by those who mistake MyLot for a social networking site or confuse it with the functions of such sites. MyLot is a discussion site which, coincidentally, has some social features. If you want to enhance the social side, then invite friends to connect with you on a site which is dedicated to social activities, such as Facebook.

not every one who uses mylot know how to work with the html sortie i guess
and not everyone would be either interested in customize there html sortie for displaying the date of birth
every site has this even some forums too
We all know each other by avatar and name and also cares about other and show interest by taking part on there discussion, comments and having here
