I went shopping online to see what recycled crafts are being sold.

I found some cute ornaments made from recycled cans and foam. I sent for one that is a teddy bear for my sister-n-law. I want to get fish ones for one of my brothers, a car for another, beetle volkswagons for my husband, angels for my spiritual adviser, and maybe a train for her husband. I was surprised how cute and nicely done some of them looked. I often go to Etsy to see if there is anything good on there.
The teddy bear ornament for my sis-n-law came today and I ordered last week after I got my mylot money. So this will be fun, getting more of these in the mail.
So are you buying or making your presents? I'm making some and buying some.
Do you ever think recycled for presents? Do you search ebay, etsy, or where else? Have you ever used mylot's search and found anything?

Well sometimes you have to be crafty to make recycled. But I started a recycled craft discussion laft year.
Glad you use mylot's search since I think sometimes we get some type of pennies for it,maybe.
So what craft gifts (brand new or recycled) are you making this year?

You're having trouble getting paid? Here or the real world?
I tried pawning my jewelry one time. They didn't want to give me much of anything for it.

I always start making some...cross stitching mostly then I don't finish and have to buy something anyway. I am just buying for a few people, I don't have a large family. I love the idea of recycled ornaments. I have made quite a bit of ornaments throughout the years. The girls used to love making ornaments when they were younger..now they just like to look at them and talk about when they made them and how little they looked in the pictures..lol. I've never really ordered ornaments online. One myLotter had some awesome little Christmas trees that she had made out of pine cones.

Christmas trees out of pine cones sounds really, really cute.
One year I stayed up all night the night before Christmas because I was still finishing making superwarm blankets for everyone.

I love ornaments made by Children. I made some for my parents when I was in school. We made bells out of the top of bottles. Probably what got me started with all this. Glad they're proud of them and love them. I hope more people think to do that. It's so adorable.

I'm making some and buying some, as usual. I have bought gifts made from recycled things and I have recycled some things myself. Last year, I made my granddaughter, who loves Coca Cola, layers of dry beans in empty Coke bottles. I made two of them and they looked really pretty. She hasn't cooked them, though! She put them up on a shelf to look at.

That's a neat idea. I like it. Maybe I'll steal your idea. I think my family would eat the beans though.
Thanks and take care.
