How do you like the new look of blogger?

Google is giving a new look to all its products. To be frank, I don't like the so-called new looks of any of them. Specially that of blogger is irritating me a lot. I can't understand the interface and I feel I am in a "settings" page rather than my dashboard!!! I tried creating a new blog and went through all the steps and entered the verification code too which i received on my mobile. But it said, "the page you requested is invalid!!!".. I am seriously thinking of switching to wordpress now. What do you think friends? Can I go for wordpress? The only thing is that I can't use adsense there. But anyway I've never used adsense in blogger either and I don't post regularly too!

Me too, I hate the new blogspot dashboard. Arrggh. It really is irritating, and it has lots of errors ( bx- *** errors for example) every time I try to paste new templates. They say it is still in beta so I understand. But i really wanted the old blogger back -- not so attractive layout but at least it's simple, easy to navigate around, and fully functional.

Very true. I had to struggle for more than a week to start a new blog on the new blogger. It kept asking me for my mobile number to send some verification text and when i entered the right word, it said, it's invalid!! I'm still not comfortable with it..same with gmail :( damn

hi buddha3!!! in the beginning i also had a personal blog that only my select friends are given access to. i didn't care much how it looked like because i was the only one using it with one invited friend as subscriber and follower. my blog was my own private space that only those with permits are allowed to enter. but then i got so bored with my personal blog and run out of things to write about perhaps because my life has been very boring and uneventful so i decided to redesign it into a food blog. i chose from the several templates that blogger had to offer and decided to use the design set up that i have now. in the beginning i had difficulties using the new set up but i learned and in the long run i enjoyed the new innovations the blogger team introduced. it made blogging easier and more fun and they have simplified publishing new posts. i am not familiar at all with word press so i can't make a comment on it at all. give blogger another chance buddha3...just choose the template that's comfortable for you. i am looking forward to visiting your new blog buddha3...i can't wait:)

You didn't quite understand my post, mammots! I'm talking about the upgraded blogger- with new site design and navigation. The design of the BLOGGER site itself and not about templates or the design of our blogs. Have you switched over to the upgraded version of blogger yet?

OK. I couldn't even create a new blog in the new version of blogger as I've explained above. That's why I got pissed off. May be I'll also get used to it after using for some time. But my only concern is, when I'm not even able to create a blog, how would I get used to it?!?! May be I will start with wordpress or bukisa
