I wouldn't feel upset about it. The last time my discussion didn't get any response was when I was really new here in mylot, the discussion was about sports and I created that discussion in my first week here on mylot. I didn't feel upset about it but I was surprised because I was expecting that sports related topics will get many responses, last week I started a discussion asking why sports related question didn't get many responses and when I read the responses I understand why my discussion about sports didn't get any response. But after that most of the discussions I started received a lot of responses.

people seem to like answering back about topics that talk about why they don't like answering back some topics lol. I guess I know to stay away from making sports related one's lol.

yeah it's quite ironic when I talked about "why mylotters are not interested in responding to sports related topics" I get many responses. The topic is still "sports related" but I put it in Question and Answers category because I doubt it will get the attention of lotters if I will put it in Sports category.

If nobody answer my discussions i don`t get upset, but i`m thinking about why nobody anwers. I think sometimes that not many people have heart of the things i`m asking them or just they don`t want to talk about this exact things.

yeah I always try to come up with good discussions that I'm interested in and I think others will be too but I still always wonder why nobody answers. or maybe its just cause not that maybe people came across it, or something else caught their eye more so and they decided to go with that one instead.

hi lucyalicia One thing you can do about it is by making an interesting/intriguing/funny/unique title. Even if the content of the discussion is really interesting or relevant if the title is not that interesting most of lotters (especially those who don't have much time to spend mylotting) will just ignore your discussion.

I guess it is disappointing but I have found some discussions take longer to get a response, someone will stumble across it one day I think.

yeah its disappointing but I get over it quickly. and yeah your right sometimes you get late responses which is nice so you know a discussion didn't go to waste. people post them for a reason and usually really want people's feedback on the subject.

No, there are as many reasons for not responding to a discussion as there are Mylotters; I do not take offense if mine goes without response but take it as a learning experience for future posting. You can learn a lot about this community based on its responsiveness. Post and learn, Lucyalicia92, post and learn.

I don't seem to learn from it at all, nothing changes. I just get lucky when I get a lot of responses and I enjoy reading and responding to every single one of them on all of my different discussions. today I've not gotten the best track record but yesterday I lucked out with all my postings. but there's always more time, hopefully people will see this discussion and my others, and maybe even some from yesterdays and add to it.
