The Samsung Y, it is only about 349 or about $8 US only a month in post paid plan. the Samsung Y seems to be a rather average android phone , but with good features. not the high end kind of phones but already a good deal.
But as i have said in my other discussions i don't use my phone any more. So i would not buy this one either. But i am surprised with the cheap and yet quality phones out there in post paid plan in the philipines particularly Smart philipines.

I don't think samsung y is even worth considering. Yes it's cheaper than most android phones but like what they say, you get what you pay for.
It has a very low internal memory, only 180MB and we know that most of the apps are stored in the internal memory. Meaning, the apps you can download on this phone is very limited. Screen resolution is also not superb and video quality is poor.

yeah it is a cheap phone. but isn't it we can store external memory card.so for those download and pictures and videos. but i guess it is still not that good or satisfying. but i am not planning to buy this anyway.

Maybe they are trying to make it cheaper now because of the stiff competition. There are a lot of phones made in China which is affordable with good features already. That might be their way of getting new customers.
