Should I buy LED or stick to LCD?

Well, I observed price between both LED and LCD is still have difference even getting closer than before. LED has brighter and more expensive but it save energy, so it will save cost in the long run. However, other feature is about the same.My friend said if we buy LCD is enough at the moment since the technology may change and more sophisticated tv technology will change a lot. Maybe there will be new technology and price of both teve again will drop. What do you think? Should I buy LED or still stick to LCD now?

If you don't like your lcd anymore, or if it's old and broken then you should buy a new one. There are some cheap lcds out there and yes, they do save energy so buying one won't be a waste.

my friend omchesunche you buy a projector.. forget about LCD & LED's .. paint a wall of your room in white & watch everything in big screen.. just plug in & enjoy as if you own a mini cinema hall :)

Hello omchesunche, I could say that you should try a variety one, that is LED, since LCD tv's had launched few years back. Both LCD and LED have its own drawback and advantages. Any way if I were, I definitely select LED.
