I live in Florida and while I try not to get in to much on political talk here or other sites, I read a lot to be informed. Not for either party but just be informed. I recieved this in my email and thought I would pass on for others to read and form their own opinions from our Florida Senator. I am beginning to realize the Senate and House are not so against each other it is being defeated without response from the other house (the color white) I genuinely do believe that Republicans, Democrats and Independents are tired of not being able to get things done together. I feel this through this Senator's words. Just my opinion but will let others read this piece and reply would love to hear responses. http://www.newsmax.com/InsideCover/Rubio-Obama-supercommittee-politics/2011/11/20/id/418616

One major political party doesn't want to raise tax and end tax break for the super wealthy and the rich, while another political party steadfastly rejected any entitlement reduction and curb wasteful spending, failing to come to these terms from both major parties about these measures necessary to put a break on our rising national debt and huge annual budget deficit, the country's fiscal woes will no doubt fall deeper into the black hole in the years ahead. The failure to compromise and accept the truth that in order to tackle this rising debt crisis, the lack of either one measure will not be able to place our nation back on the fiscal health again no matter how much the super-committee can proposed.

Amen! And remember while we have voted in new members, they have their hands tied by all the ones that have been voted for years in and allowed to do as they want. So even with the handful few of new ideas in the Capital, the old ones are still very set in their ways. Then not having a Commander in Chief that wants to be a president because he can lead his jet set life style on Air Force One and his wife can use the backup Air Force 2 which is in reality not supposed to be there for whim trips but set on ground if Air Force 1 went down for repairs etc. While we are all backlashing our Government, does anyone notice the Prez is always AWOL from all these meetings and almost always out of the country when a decision is to be made? Kind of like having the grandchildren over and you have a big dish of candy in front of them and you tell them they can't have it with no explanation as to WHY so they could understand they would not eat their dinner but could have some for later. All we can do is keep voting. I just know who I won't vote for. I swear I get tired of going down and changing my parties every 3 years! Wish someone would get it right for awhile. But this is a mess. Until us voters get rid of all the ones that are set in their thinking from way back, and watch TV you will see who is hobbling around and needs to retire I don't see how anything can get solved. Bless you love your response!

First of all, continue to vote on your part is commendable, except that all voters must prepare to accept some real changes inside congress instead of just comestic changes, all new blood need to be infused into present congress in the next election where new idea and energy can be tapped to tackle the nation's fiscal issue quickly and effectively. Those old guards in both major political parties occupying congress for several terms had expired in their useful shelf life and they don't seem to be able to understand the scope of this debt crisis that will affect the future well being on new generation of American and the nation. Unwillingness on their part to answer some tough questions facing the country while in congress and stubbornly to act against conventional wisdom of prudent fiscal management and practice pragmatic economic theory will continue to drag us further into deeper debt hole, unless more new people representatives are elected coming next election, i am afraid to tell you the deadlock on solving this huge deficit and rising debt issue will not come to a happy ending for now. It is a fact you need to come to term with for the time being after the failure of super committe to come out with a solution meeting with the congressional leaders.

Hi Lampar I don't think voting for this years president is going to be an easy feat. I am all over the place on my feelings. Part of it is because I am a Vet fron the Army. I see the government trying to take away their medical and cut their pensions. I just don't understand how everyones money is being taken away from them when they sincerely served and fought wars. So I am watching this campaign very closely. I deffinately know my mind is not made up yet! Have a nice day.

Hello there sis! I am so happy to be back in the net world to be connected again to friends like you! :) As to response in your topic, I am also not into political news but I also read to get informed. The hottest political news here in my country is the hospital arrest of our former president. He case was about electoral sabotage among others.
