Why is ambition seen as "BAD"?

I think some people let their ambitions drive their lives to a point that they don't care about all the people that they step along the way. Some fail to see that in their strive to make themselves better, they are willing to put everybody else down. I think that's why they think ambition is bad.

For me ambition can be seen BAD if you're not using it well, and when it is too much. Too much that it can hurt other people, and when you need someone to sacrifice, and when that ambition can damage your dignity & your family.

It depends on how they use the ambition. If they walk all over people to get what they want, that's not good. Used in the right way, with the right attitude, it can be a wonderful thing. I wish that I was more ambitious sometimes myself.
