Goals scored from 30 yards are usually called a screamer. For half-way line, brilliant. Now how about a headed goal from inside your own half? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnr-0oDezxM&feature=player_embedded

:) It was really funny to watch the goal. I will sack that keeper first. The ball bounced over his head and he was clumsily chasing it back into his net. When the ball is being headed from such a distance what was he doing so far out of his goal!! Cheers! Ram

This is one of the things that makes the game so interesting, comical and near impossible act.

i had seen the link iam speechless. in my club, iam goalkeeper.. as my experience, i can say the goalkeeper is not ready for anticipating a header from his opponent.. how come?? a good goalkeeper always try for anticipating the best that he can do it 90 minutes.. so it include how he react when he got the easy ball like in the video.. this video show how awful and stupid the goalkeeper.. it`s easy and of course easy for being anticipated by goalkeeper...but the goalkeeper is wrong when take the position and too far away from his real position..

Amazing, brilliant are only the words to describe such an attempt.I shall definitely watch the video on you tube.It will remain an effort which is hard to surpass even by the best. The chances of such goal happening again are bleak.
