I feel that first poverty must be eradicated to stop child labour. or scheme's like providing food at schools (which is already existence in some states in India) must be made more effecient. If a child does some work and is getting paid for the same means CHILD LABOUR. Then I feel that making children act in movies and advs are also child labour as they are getting paid for that. Am i right or wrong?

This issue had been for many decades used by any political candidates running for respective positions. But, in any country, none had ever resolved that problem thought there are many ordinances implemented.I think one of the main reason, why this had never been resolved is because of great poverty in every country and those people are left with no option but a need to survive. Even, there are many institutions doing great deeds for this children, it is still not enough to stop the said unlawful labor because, we cannot prevent those under poverty line to stop growing even in other countries do have a bill for controlling their population by limiting their family count. I guess, the great possibility for this to be resolved is a great penalties for those opportunistic merchants who violates their laws about child labor and strict compliance in their ordinances without accepting any illegal monetaries from those handlers doing child labour plus a complete funding institutions that is free from corrupt people and giving a good implementations and proper orientations. The problem on Child labour will never stop unless none will take advantage of them. If a government can finance these families by giving them micro- business programs to earn, I guess these families, they will not anymore allow or force their children to work in exchange of money. For, they can survive with what the government had assisted them.

Child Labour here in the Philippine Provinces is more like a tradition, where the children is absent in school, and found there at the rice field working under the heat of the sun for a whole day in order to receive a small amount of temporary share salary in order to buy rice and dried fish to feed a single stomach for a day... for a very poor environment, and its more like a tradition, and if the children doesn't work at farm, its a low reputation because that child that won't work is a lazy child that won't help their parents... Philippines is an agricultural Country as of now. The rights of the child is for the parents to send their children to school and a very wrong to send their children to work under the heat of the sun where the children engaged to trim harvest rice stalks using a very sharp Kama Blade, too bad if they accidentally cut their fingers or wrist. anything is possible, so be very careful, Kama Blade is a very sharp to trim a hectare stalks of rices.

It is true not only in India but in many countries. I think the law is there but implementation is the main problem. If us people who employ those children we can put a stop on this then the would be no problem. It have to start with us.
