What gives you a bad day?

I have been stressed lately, and every day is a busy day. Aside from thanking and asking God everyday for guidance, I try to ward off bad moods and stress by humming as I work, by thinking positive things and trying to be peaceable with all the people around me. But as humans we are inclined to do wrong things which we may regret at the end of the day. Traffic is one of those that I hate, then you have to rush things so that you'll finish what you are doing on time, plus the stress that sometimes results from work....arrrgh... taking deep breaths really help. It's not everyday that we have a great day, but thank God we manage to go through those days which we have to face unpleasant things.
How about you? Is everyday a good day to you?

What gives me a bad day?
Turning the tv On in the morning in the news channel.
Waking up with really annoying noises.
Watching a bad movie.
Working really hard somedays in my job and not being apreciated.
Talking to friends of shi*.
And much more

Just don't let those annoying noises and yelling and bad things take their toll on us. There are days we do, but let's try to be positive and be happy most of the time.
Thank you for the response, wydtron and nat. Cheers!

Lol, yeah I hate waking up to annoying noises in the morning. I hate it when I'm having a good dream and my sister decides to yell some weird noises in my ear. Then I get so aggravated and annoyed with her for the rest of the day.
What I also hate is when I have to wake up early in the morning for school. I get grumpy because I go to bed late and I try not to but I'm always distracted.

I try to shoo away negative thoughts by making myself busy and sometimes praying to God to help me not be grouchy

Oh, I wish I can be like you! Sometimes even if I made up my mind not to take notice of the "bad trips", I still can't avoid reacting, but thankfully most of the time I can easily 'chillax' :) Thanks for the response!

It's normal to feel that way, we do get pissed off at little things. Sometimes I also can't control myself. I feel it's an achievement if I was able to calm myself down.

It is rather just a bunch of things that pile on at once. I mean like about ten really frustrating things happening one after another. A couple of bad things, yeah, it might not really be good, but it is not going to be something that I am going to let rattle me, it is not going to let it get to me too much. However, the term everything bad that can happen will really does put a certain damper upon my day.
I also think that a lot of people around me being negative is rather going to bring my mood down and really cause me a great deal of frustrating. When surrounded by negativity, you are going to get some rather negative thoughts and feelings. Level of frustration beyond anything you could ever feel to say the very least. So I try not to let things get to me but they do.

Hi, Triond friend!
Right, even if you are trying not to let things get you down but they almost always do, like they are really trying to see if you lose or win. And if you lose, aww, it's like you wanted to restart your day. And have you noticed that if you have started your day with one bad thing happening to you, some more will follow as the day progresses? Oh well, anyway, most days are fine and fun. Thanks, megamatt!

I have bads days when i encounter people who seem to want to break me down. Like they would talk smack around me and laugh around me, things like that. I'm very emotional so anything that makes my day bad will pretty much ruin it lol. Waking up late also ruins my day because I then have to adjust my schedule or rush thinbgs so that I will not mess up my work.

Yeah, me too. I understand that. But sometimes I think that maybe during these times, we are being taught to be more patient, to be more relaxed, to not easily give in to these unpleasant things that are trying to ruin our day.
Thanks, tessa, for sharing!

When I have a stressful day or I go through a whole bunch of drama I have a bad day! I don't really have bad days too often though because usually I just experience rather long and tiresome days. Other than that, I try to make my day and life as happy and positive as possible!
When I get in traffic I get discouraged, when food places mess up my order, and when my parents whine about everything I do wrong, I have a bad day. Those are just some of my pet peeves that would cause me to have a bad day!

Yeah, I understand about parents whining, or sometimes arguing over small things. At least you have the will to stay above those things and be as happy and positive as you can. I hope today and always will be a nice day for you, because you can always choose whether you wanted your day to be bad or good. Cheers and thank you!

most of the time i get a bad mood when i would be meeting a person who would be disrespectful, of my personal space, if they are annoying, if they are doing things that are something that could cause one to get angry... like someone who would not fall in line, someone who would not bump into you and not say sorry...

And people who stand and gossip on the sidewalk while everybody is passing by that way, yeah, so annoying. Thanks, chiyosan, for the share!

I try to make it a good one each day, but there still would be times wherein we're really face with unpleasant things which could really ruin our day. One of the things that easily ticks me off is when I'm caught in traffic on a street where there's usually no traffic because some VIP convoy is about to pass and we motorists have to stop and give them a clear path.

Lucky VIP's, they have to go first or to be served first before the non-VIP's. Thanks, beamer :)

I hate the rush and many things to do too, it gives me a kind of stress. So I plan as less as possible and if it takes longer I skip other things.
For me burning a certain kind of escense is relaxing. I see it works for my kid as well. So if I feel stressed, even if I have no time to sit down and run in and out I burn some. If I come home and smell it in my house I feel all the stress leave me.
My day is not bad because of one or more stressfull things I had on that day.
Yesterday I had a great relaxing start, made marmelade, a friend came over so we made some art for over 1 hour. I went to school to pick up my kids, had a discussion with other parents with the teacher etc this took hours and they really made me angry. As we left home I took an other kid with me and I decided to let the kids make something so we all were busy by hands (not mind/thinking).
After that I had to hurry for shopping/cooking and did some painting again.
I wanted to visit a shop for some things I had to do at night which is more relaxing but was afraid it was already closed. Went over (nice quite, dark, fog outside) and they still were open so I could do what I want more relaxed/fast/without time pressure). Even had a free very watery cup of coffee over there.
So even that discussion of school was terrible I did not let that spoil my day.
The start was great the end was great.
Everyday is different for me. I think it's for me. Ups and big downs but I don't let them ruin my whole day or week. It's not worth the good energy.

I really like that! Yours is a good example as well as an advice to people like me. You really have good ways of not letting negative situations ruin your day. I will surely remember to do it. Thanks a lot, Kitty!

I don't know but it seems that I am always having a bad day lately as well that I really hate waking up already. But it didn't last the whole day though. I guess that I just want to have more sleep than I can possibly have since I am always tired doing stuff the whole day.
What really makes me tick are people who keeps on disturbing me while I am doing something important. Trying to get a quiet time is really hard but that's always my way to relax and stop feeling bad about my day.

You need to unwind, take some time to relax. Because if you are having a bad time lately that means stress has already caught up on you. Anyway, thank you for the response and I hope this day has been good :)
