Anyone use My Points site? THey have a tool bar there and I love it, but when I updated my Firefox browser to 7.0 and athen to 8.0...it deleted my MY tool bar. I have gone to the site many times to download it, is says it downloads it and I do the "run", but when I click on the "view" then "toolbars"...the My Points tool bar is not there. I have been nearly a month asking My Points how to fix this and they just keep sending me the "text book" version of what to do. I keep responding "I have done this. There is no MP tool bar to click on". THey respond to delete and download. It says there is a grey button I have to click to activate the tool bar on the right side of the left hand side of the tool bar and of course there is nothing there.
Does anyone use My Points tool bar..can you tell me how to make the tool bar visable? I was sucessful in installing it to IE, but I use Firefox....any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I have Firefox 7.01 and installed the toolbar with no problems. I have noticed though, that sometimes certain buttons don't show up in Firefox and I have to go to IE to finish what I'm doing. One of them was due to the font on Firefox being set too high and I was able to reset it and then see the button. Maybe you should contact Mozilla help instead of MyPoints or at least search through the forums there to see if anyone else has the problem.

THanks for comment. i have contacted Mozilla...no response! I did download it in IE and it worked fine..there it is at the top like it should be and used to be in Mozilla. But I went into mozilla and ran it, and nothing showed up.what font are you talking about? Could be my problem too.

It would probably be better to search the Mozilla forums than to try to contact anyone there directly. The software is open source, which means it's constantly be worked on by anyone who wants to.
To change the font in Firefox, go to Tools then to Options and then to Content. In the bottom half of the Content pane will be "Fonts and Colors." You can make adjustments there.

Well, I am not using MyPoints, but it sounds like compatible issue.
I guess, the solution for your problem is either by waiting for MyPoint to upgrade their toolbar or simply downgrade your browser version. Uninstall your current browser now (which is version 8.0), and try to install the older versions. You may found the older version of Firefox at here:

I wish this would solve your problem..

Thanks for the help, but I already thought of that. deleted FF, then went via IE and installed 5.0 which is what I had when it worked prior to this. But it didn't fix it as it says it downloads it, and I go "run" it, but nothing shows up anywhere. Thanks tho for thinking to mention it!
