First Memory / myLot

This may seem a strange question but it is one of my favourite questions to ask someone I intend on getting to know. You get some of the most interesting answers. What is your very first Memory?

My first memory would have to be my first day at school, I cried so much, I just didn't want to be there, I hated it and I hated school until the day I left but that day was so traumatic it is really the only thing I remember from that far back.

funny enough that is probably the most common answer I get, "My first day of school" :) I have received one answer from someone who was 12 months old and myself I was about a month before my 3rd birthday. I was walking from my living room into my kitchen and there was a plastic bag hanging on a door knob which had some broken glass in it. I cut my forehead open on it, 5 stitches and one first memory later! lol

Very difficult question, guess it was the first day in school, i was weeping, the head mistress gave a chocolate and toffes, later i learnt my mom had given her to give me, if i cry. Welcome to mylot.
