Have you ever felt like your life is falling apart? Like your whole world is being turned up side down and inside out? That so many aweful things are happening at once and you can't even think straight, that you can't even see where to begin to get things going someone good? What have you done when your life has felt this way? Right now there are so many different things happening in my life that I really just don't know which direction I should be going in, if I should completely change directions, or what. During times like this I find it hard to decide which decisions are good to make.

Sorry to heat that things are that bad at this time. I've had a few of those times myself. Then I got down on my knees and poured out my heart to God. There are times when no one else can help. Philippians 4:6-7 J.B. Phillips New Testament (PHILLIPS) 6-7 Don’t worry over anything whatever; tell God every detail of your needs in earnest and thankful prayer, and the peace of God which transcends human understanding, will keep constant guard over your hearts and minds as they rest in Christ Jesus. May He help you as He has done many times for me!

girl_thinking, that is so true, the Bible has the best advice for dealing with any problem. Here are five things that have helped me deal with problems: 1) Go to God in prayer 2) Read the Bible for wisdom 3) Talk to those that might offer some insight 4) Deal with the problem the best you can 5) Keep a positive mental attitude that it will eventually all work out for the best

Keeping a positive mental attitude really uplift my mood and praying does wonders! ^_^ Everyday, we encounter problems and it will be very hard to deal with them especially if we are not spiritually strong.

When i was at the point of liking to take my own life many many years ago, my husband and my parents as well as my sisters, helped me to be strong. In fact they took me to where my other sister lives. There , that sister who is a Christian, introduced me to Born Again. I grew stronger and ultimately moved on. However, until now, i am still a Catholic yet there are already some beliefs that i don't believe. I am so glad, i completely turn to God at my lowest point in life.

I'm glad that you were able to get through those tough times by strengthening your relationship with God. I think that if I continue to strengthen my relationship with him I will feel better. I know that he will be able to help me through these hard times I'm just not sure how or what decisions I should make right now. I do look forward though to seeing him help me out. It really does strengthen our relationship when we know that he is helping us and we are able to see it.

Hi dominique, i have been through the same situation maybe worse than yours. All i did was face the problem one by one. I asked God's help to clear my mind and look at every problematic situation. I looked for solutions to each problem and prioritized the easiest to solve. I kept my faith in God and believed that those problems were given to me so i could be closer to Him. I also belived that he will not leave me alone in solving those. True enough, he fulfilled his promise and he did not forsake me. I was able to find clear solutionsalso my family supported me and i gradually recover my self esteem and became a better person. Call on God, he will help you if you only believe.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me. I agree that it is a good idea to take one problem at a time. It gets overwhelming when we try to solve to many things at once. I'm glad that you were able to endure those hard times you faced with trust and confidence in God. I'm glad that you have become a better person and I hope that as i endure these tough times I will do better as well.

There was a time in my life when I thought that my world has fallen. It was the most depressing time for our family. I cried a lot, talked about it, everything to help me clear the emotional turmoil which only crying and talking can cure. I guess I survived that trial for I am still here.

I'm glad that you have made it through those tough times. I feel like my world is falling apart because it literally is. I'm not even sure how I'm going to make it through these times. I unfortunately don't see any happy outcome or successful way of dealing with all the things that are happening. I too have cried a lot during this trying time. I'm not happy with my life right now and I hope that soon something good will happen. I'm working on looking at things from a different perspective and I'm trying to keep busy so as not to be overwhelmed with the negativity of all that is happening. I do think that I will be with mylot for awhile, so hopefully after awhile something in my life will get better.

Hi Dominique, Everybody falls apart at one point of his life. I have also experienced being in this situation several times. Big or small reasons, there are something or some people that really affect our perception. When life is falling apart, I feel so depressed that nothing in this world seems to be interesting anymore. When I am down, I pray. I always remind myself this. Prayer is really very helpful. Just an hour of silence, alone from everyone, alone from the things that we usually do. Going to an empty church clears my mind. ^_^ Oh yeah, when things get out of control, crying, writing and sleeping are my comfort.

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts. It really does help to hear how others deal with their life when it's falling apart. I do agree that prayer helps. I look forward to seeing him work in helping me in my life. Because all the things that are happening are really testing my faith and trust. So I really look forward to seeing his support through these trials. I also agree that the last three things you mentioned does help. I like to write my friends when things are hard and I love to sleep. I think sleep helps me to look at things differently when I wake up.

Hello, Well, yes when you wake up you will somehow see a different angle on your problem. Though sometimes when we wake up, the heavy feeling is still there. I don't wanna be in that position anymore. Depression really takes the life out of us. It is good if you have friend to hang out with. :)

Well, recently I've had quite a low moment so what I did was I found out what was harmful/negative in my lay, and I removed it instantaneously. I knew in the long run, it couldn't assist with the accomplishment of any of my goals, so I got rid of it! (It being a particular substance I do not want to directly identify) The point is, if your life is falling apart, you should identify the reasons as to why it is doing so and eliminate those reasons because they are only harming you! Life was intended to be prosperous, so you can't allow for things to invade and be injurious to the way you live!

Thanks. That does make a lot of sense. I will do my best to implement this in my life. I'm glad that you were able to remove the negativity in your life. I will have to take some time and evaluate all the things and people in my life that are harmful to the way I want my life to be which is happy and healthy.

You're not alone.I have been through a lot of ups and downs for the past 3 years since I resign from job.At times , I feel that my life is falling apart and don't know where to begin. The most important thing is to think positive in every situation. Our mind is powerful that what we think becomes our motivation. We should face things one at time, and start at the things that you can do.You'll be surprise that your problems is not really that big.We also need the support of our friends and families who really cares about us,to make our loads lighter.Don't forget to pray and ask God for help.He can make impossible things possible if He wills.God Bless!

I agree that praying is a good thing for me to do. Especially when facing hardships. I hope that things improve for you as well with your work situation. I do need to work on keeping a positive attitude. I find it difficult to do with all that has been going on lately. I will continue to work in these areas so that I will be better able to handle other trials that come up.
