White Rice or Brown Rice?

Most Asians love to eat rice. Studies show that brown rice is healthier than white rice. Which do you prefer? I've tried eating both, brown rice is a little bland to my taste. Medically it is advisable to eat the brown one. As much as I would like to, but it's too expensive compared to the white rice. What's your point of view on this?

I prefer white rice, i dont like taste of brown rice that much..though it is more healthier. I intake a limited amount of white rice, so not much worried about its harms..

We don't eat that much rice in our house but I do tend to og for the brown rice. Sometimes I cook some brown rice nad white rice and mix it together. If I'm doing yellow rice then it has to be white rice that I cook

Hi jeanne I too would have preferred to eat brown rice but is is way too expensive to eat on a regular basis. Also the problem I have here is availability. White rice is the most preferred variety and so most shopkeepers and grocers sell only white rice!

Hi jeanne94668, yes, brown rice is healthier compared to the starchy white rice. I actually prefer white rice because I am used to it but whenever I feel like I am gaining weight, I switch from white to brown rice from time to time. Brown rice is expensive than white rice because white is widely available than brown.
