Did you ever have a wish come true?

People have so many beliefs and superstitions. One of them is making a wish. When you see a shooting star, make a wish. Throw a coin in a wishing well and then your wish will come true. While blowing out the candles on your cake on your birthday, you silently make a wish. Of all the wishes that you've made, has one ever come true?

Heh for me wishes and hopes are a motivation to keep me move on in my life. I hope I will have a Ninja King car in the future, I wish I will be able to enter the University of Nottingham, these wishes keep on motivating me and serve as a target that I would really like to achieve in my life. So yeah, I kinda always do throw a coin down the wishing well or something like that, and yeap, there are some wishes in my life that had came true XD.

I wished to travel around the world. This amazingly happened to me at age 20 to 21 years old. I had been made redundant from my job and it had been impossible to find another job. I let out my cottage, got a working holiday visa and bought an airline ticket around the world. On my fantastic trip I visited California, Hawaii, Fiji, Australia, Indonesia and Malaysia. In Australia I found work as a children's nanny, a charity collector and a factory packer. I wished to see more places in the South Pacific. I was able to travel there after my teaching contact ended when I was 29 years old. I went to California, French Polynesia, the Cook Islands and Samoa.

I can't remember a wish I made that has come true. But the prayers I made were answered. It took a lot of time 'though.

Of course they came true. But it is because I have exerted effort to attain my goals in life. It's not in the candle that I blow during my birthday nor whenever I see a shooting star, although I believe in them. Lastly, with God's grace, I was able to reach them one by one :)
