I had grey hair in the back from a very young age, I think from primary school. For many years it was only one small not visible part of my hair and I cosidered it as luck! After the age of 17 I started having some between my natural colour, but they were a few and I didn't pay attention. The last 3 years I have many in the fron of my hair and they are visible so I am forced to do blond highlights every month (full head) to cover them. I have tried dying my hair in uniform colour but it didn't work, after 15 days the roots were grey and I had to use temporary sticks with colour. I am thinking that this is due to stress because they started growing during the last years of high school when I had a lot of exams etc. And as the years pass more of them grow. I wish I could find a way to make them reduce.. Did you ever have this kind of problem? Do you think it's because of stress and am I going to have grey hair everywhere before my 30s?

Hi,there! Maybe you should study your genealogy. I think you just inherit that from your ancestors. Just try to find it out in your family first and try to seek doctors advise. I think it can help you then.

My parents didn't have such problems, maybe you are right and I should ask to learn about other members of my family. I remember my grandmother had some grey hair but even when she was 80 she still was maybe 20% brown and 80% white so it shouldn't be from her. Thank you for the comment! :)

Hi Besweet, Even I face a similar problem like you. I am now under 25 and have already have a lot of grey hair. As i could remember i had it as early as 15. But I am Currently not coloring it. I have searching for a solution for this since 2 years. I think this could be due to stress. Hope both of us will soon find a solution for this. Regards

Hi! I haven't searched for a specific solution, I don't believe that my grey hair is going to dissapear one day. I am colouring my hair because mine is white in the front so it is very obvious and now that I have started with the highlights it will look strange to me to leave it as it is, it's too late. I wish I could just leave them to be natural! Trying to reduce stress might be helpful in stopping new grey hair to appear. Getting very stressed is not good in many ways but it is difficult to control it when we have so many things to take care in our everyday life. I wish you the best narthan, have a nice day!

I had a friend years ago that was diognose with something that I can't remember the name, he was also addicted to eating cheese and I remember him saying that it was because of this what ever he was diognosed with and one of the things was one of other things was pre-mature greying of hair, he started going grey in his teens but when he got older his full head of grey hair looked wonderful because there is a nice grey and there is a not so nice mousy grey, and I am not sure if it was another part of it or not but he never had any balding just a beautiful head of gorgeous grey hair....Anyway blonde highlights can look good.

I have never checked it because everyone says that it's from stress or from my family but both my mum and dad didn't have that. I don't have any other habits like the one that you describe and the weird thing is that it is still local like when I was young. It's at the front part of my hair and the one that I had when I was younger. Fortunately, with the blonde highlights it's almost not visible at all! Grey hair looks good on men, they become more charming and I like it too (like George Clooney!). But in women it's like showing that they are ageing earlier..
