how do you fix problem with your computer?

my computer keeps coming up with errors. keeps freezing up browser don't work have the time and it keeps saying missing window compotents put windows 2000 disk in but don't have disk and it never came with on other things keep happening with computer to how do you fix/

sort of for the time being but need to get a ram stick and new video card for computer
