Hello dear fellows... The other day most strange thing happened. I had connected my phone to the charger and was taking a little rest. The phone rang and by the time I got to the phone (took only 5 sec, maybe), it got disconnected. When I checked the no, I felt scared. It was an unknown number, which isn't a new thing. I often get miss calls, wrong numbers, blank calls etc. What took my attention was the country code. It was 0092... Its from our neighbor- Pakistan... This might sound funny or unimportant to you. The thing is our neighbor has sent too many of their men, who have got local help too; to spread terrorism :-(... To receive a call or a blank call from such quarters isn't pleasent... The next day I read in newspaper about a guy filing a complaint that he had been receiving calls from the same no repetatively... The mystery still remains and the confusion too... :-(...

This is why I hate, hate phones. I have a cell but It is Always turned off. I only use it in an emergency. Only my family and my boss know my phone number and even then they know to email me instead. I hope it clears up.

Oh Sarah, I too dislike phones. But you see thats the only way for me to communicate. I'm going to have to buy a laptop asap... For the sake of myLot, my phone is always ON and internet is ON too.. Thankfully, I've not got any calls from that no again.. Thanks a lot!

I too get missed calls from overseas and i don't even know what country it is since i don't know their country code. It's even irritating when those calls keeps coming in and we can't answer it due to the roaming charges. IN the case of yours, it's best to leave it unanswered, because u never know police may come knocking on your door one of these days, telling u that u have contacts with some terrorist. By then, it's going to be very troublesome.

Hi Miss... I'll of course keep away from such calls. It is loathesome to get such calls in the first place... I mean, it is from a country the rulers of which have been sending their devils to us and killing our people... :-( Thanks a lot...

oh, that is kind of scary and you should be careful. i'd say that though we all get some prank calls and it can be pretty common, you should at least report it too so you get off the hook, the phone call might be being directed to your number, etc. just always make your home safe.

Well that is something to get worry, on the conditions that country is,I don't understand how can people live their life just think about terrorism. But in the case of the phone call maybe was wrong number, and nothing about terrorism, because not all the Pakistanies are terrorist I think. So don't worry and have a nice day.

Indeed, I would be nervous too over that. I would suggest not answering the phone if you see that code come up. Other than that I don't know what to offer you. I am sure it is very scary for you. I hope it does not happen anymore.

Fortunately, I've not received any such calls, but really it's scary to receive such calls from unknown number and that too from your enemy. I hope nothing will be that discouraging and everything will be sorted out sooner than later. All the best.

Oh yes... It is not good to receive such calls.. I got it only once and it was scary enough. One other guy from Pune only received many such calls and he reported it to the cops... What could he do? I'd report if I received many such calls... Thank you :-)!!!

Hi mr_pearl, It might be a good idea to report to the authority. Of course your mobile company will be able to vouch that it was a missed call. I am saying this because of the fact that we are not on good terms with our neighbour. And if anything happens and God forbid, something bad, and they find out that your phone number had been called, you might be in trouble through no fault of your own. If you ever received another call, I suggest not picking up at all.

Hi... Thanks for your suggestions... I'd have approached the authorities, if there any more calls. But there was't anymore. If I get one more of those, I'll approach the cops immediately... Our neighbors can go to any mean level and make it chaotic here... I hate their rulers...

Don't worry, we all have received those strange phone calls. You just have to mark the number and put it safe somewhere. Incase he calls you again, let him know you are not interested in whatever he is offering. I believe they cannot force you to join those groups if you are not interested. You can also report to the authority so as they could monitor the number.

Hi... Thanks a lot! I've not received any call after that, but if I do, I'll surely play it smart... I need to, I mean, there is no other option... Thank you again!
