I know that Louis van Gaal is a difficult person, but he is the person who has always formed great teams. Everybody knows what he did at Ajax, with young players who have become great ones. He has won the Champions League with players like van der Saar, Davids, Seedorf, Kluivert, when these players were still young. He has a tremendous eye for youngsters and he is well known for the total football he wants his teams to play. He did a great job at Barcelona also, where he has won some trophies and has given the chance for some of the current stars, like Xavi, Valdes, Puyol. He did a great job at Alkmaar also, where he has won the Eredivisie. And then he has come to Bayern Munchen and put the team back in the first 5 clubs of Europe, where Bayern belongs. He has won the Bundesliga and the German Cup and lead Bayern to the Champions League final. He has given a chance to Holger Badstuber and Thomas Muller and they have become very important players both at Bayern and in the national team. But he is like a general, and he doesn't like star allures, like Ribery and some other players at Bayern have. That is why he has had conflicts with them and then these players made others turn back to the trainer, eventually being sacked for lack of performance. Now, the thing at Ajax is that he was named as a General Director without the knowledge of Johann Cruijff. I don't know the details, but if he will be a sort of a coach at Ajax, we will see Ajax becoming a great team in Europe again. He is one of the best coaches around, he knows a lot of football and has great confidence in youngsters.

Yes, if these two legendary people fight, is not good for Ajax. I think if they will get along well, Ajax will be back in the top of European football, because with the right coach and the right strategy, they can keep their youngsters and form a good team again. Anyways, I wish that Louis van Gaal will be able to show his master class again at one team, because I consider him the best coach which was at Bayern since I am a fan of them. Many Bayern fans would disagree with me, but he knows more football even than Ottmar Hitzfeld, in my opinion.

Ajax may be a powerhouse in the past, but in recent decades, they are more of a selling club. Other than winning their domestic league, they have not gone past the group stages of Champion's league and even Europa league. Even if there's no internal conflict, i can't see Ajax going any further than where they are now. Other teams in their league are improving while Ajax is more interested in making money. So whatever happens to Ajax, it's their own doing.

yes, Ajax maybe could use Luis Suarez for increasing ajax performing, but they prefer to get money from Suarez and take decision for selling Suarez.. what a pity

I was not aware of these internal conflicts in Ajax. Generally Ajax is the house of great young talent. If there is conflict then these players would move to other clubs in Europe. Cheers! Ram

Since the local newspaper does not cover much of the Dutch league, I am not aware of the long standing of conflicts at the club. They seem to be pretty much a stable club. In fact, they were once the breeding ground for world class players. Now, that mantle had been taken over by Barcelona.
