When up for re-election, Dems see the corruption

Democrat Senator Clair McCaskill from Missouri has asked that Obama's wheel and deal with a major donor, costing tax payers $443 MILLION for a vaccine we don't use, be investigated. This was a no bid contract for a small pox vaccine to be held in the case of an emergency outbreak. That is such an issue here in the US http://dailycaller.com/2011/11/24/mccaskill-asks-for-investigation-into-obama-administrations-sole-source-vaccine-contract/ The last American case was reported in 1949. I am glad the Senator is calling it to the floor, but I do wonder at her intentions.

Hopefully she'll blow the lid off this scam!

All I can say is it's a start, but I'm betting there's hundreds and hundreds of similar deals, and unfortunately, it's been going on in this White House and I suspect earlier administrations (as well as nice deals going on in Congress too). I'd like to see all kinds of investigations and indictments and jail time (but not federal prisons...that's like another country club). I think McCaskill's motives are pretty apparent...she knows people are fed up and she wants to be re-elected. And divorcing oneself from others (like the President) who are neck-deep in corruption is one way to go. The other is getting your own house in order. I wonder if we looked in to McCaskill's dealing whether she's angel white?

I think your right. And investigations all the way around is what Issa is trying to do but keeps getting stone walled.

At this point I do not really care what her point is. I am just thrilled that someone is investigating some of the corruption in the Obama administration.

I agree and 443 million is a sizable number even for our debt
