Have you ever used an Outhouse?

When I was little that was what we had to use. I won't use a porta-potty, I'd rather use an outhouse.

I did when I was little. At a couple parks before they put in plumbing. I don't like porta-potties either. I find something wrong and gross about using a porta-potty.

Oh yes, many times. Still do sometimes. My home has plumbing, but I live out in the desert. They have them around. The weirdest is the ones in the mountains. It has a draft coming up, hehehehhehe.

I remember when I was about 7 walking through the snowy path that led to the back yard. There stood a wooden shack with a door. It was a little creepy to go out alone. Usually you went out with another person who held the flashlight so you could see where you were going.

yeah. i went camping with my ex once and theyere was an outhouse behind the cabin. i used it. it was alright.

When I was little and grew up living on a Farm we only had a Outhouse, and let me tell you in the middle of winter in Minnesota it got real cold going out to the Outhouse. Ours didn't have a heater LOL...

Unfortunately, yes I have! Amazing what you'll do when you have to go to the bathroom bad enough! LOL I think I pretty much held my breath as long as I could while in there. The smell was awful!!

You mean you didnt have a bathroom? I hate out houses. that must have been a nightmare to you. Well mabe not if thats the only thing you knew. I thank the lord that we dont have them anymore.

Well...that certainly brings back memories. When I was a child, I was a girl scout and went to a girl scout camp during the summer. We used outhouses then...they always had such a nice aroma! LOL

Only when I was on scout camp. I'm glad I have a bathroom at home. I'd hate the thought of having to go out to a cold outhouse in the middle of winter. I think I'd burst my bladder first trying to hold everything.

I've had to use one a few times, when I've had no choice. Like when you go to the county fair or the beach, etc. I'm not overly fond of them, a little too stinky for me! Then again, I guess it's better than peeing your pants. LOL!
