I have been wondering do any of you think all video will be 3D one day? Because I see all these 3D movies comming out, they got a 3D nintendo DS, and now there is an iphone app thats 3D looking and you dont even need glasses. Now that they have 3D without glasses im sure much more 3D things will be comming out now. Do you think thats the new way of watching videos and at a certain point in time all videos will be in 3D?

I don't think that one day all the videos will become 3D version. Although 3D videos seem to be much more popular than before. But it also has its disadvantages. First, your eyes may feel tiring easily after watching the 3D videos. Second, as to the near-sighted person like me, I may have to wear two pairs of glasses so that I can watch 3D videos. Isn't it troublesome? I love China

Yes I have heard earlier in the discussion that it can be bad for your eyes. Thats probably why everything is not 3D now. Thanks for the feedback have a good day.

People have been trying to promote the idea of 3D since I was a child. I am now 67. It hasn't caught on yet. I doubt it ever will. Why would anyone NEED something like that?

Our view of the world around us is in 3D with surround sound,so as entertainment technology improves,They're trying to get closer to that..It has been a slow process, but it is getting there..I don't mind an improved experience,Just so long as we don't have to get wired up to experience it,like in "The Matrix"...!

Yes that is true we have to be careful with technology. Too much realism could turn up extremely lazy, it also can get like the movie surrogates. Thanks for the feedback good day.

Well, it's pretty much the new trend right now as technology and new ideas are evolving so fast. Everything is coming out as 3D and it's pretty much still under research. So far, it's not all that great but new technology is coming out and now you don't even need the glasses to watch 3D. I have a 3D TV and I can pretty much watch 3D movies on it. There's also 3D Tv where your Tv channels are in 3D but I don't think that has come out yet. They have made a 3D TV where you can watch all your programs in 3D without the use of glasses but right now they can only make small TVs, they're still working on bigger Tvs. It sounds pretty awesome now but later on, new things are going to be invented, like how old trends pretty much waste away. Though, it is pretty exciting but it's just a way to take your money. I just wait until it's real cheap and then I get it. I don't like competing with other people to get the latest technology because it's pointless. You'll be popular as first but then everyone will get it and you're popularity will just be temporary.

Yes your roght competing with people for technology is now the best idea because then you will pay the top price for things that will get cheaper later on down the line. The way you explained it made me really want a 3D TV. I will wait untill its the price of a regular TV though and I love the fact that its glasses free. Thanks for the feedback have a good day.

Everything in 3d? wouldn't that give us a headache? not everyone can afford it, there will be more poor people in the future, and only the rich will enjoy the luxury of a 3d video. it's possibly that most of the movies in the future would be in 3d and they will still have regular movies for economic reasons. It's fun to watch 3d once in a while, though it's effects on the eyes are damaging if you always watch them.

Really i didnt know it damages your eyes thanks for letting me know that I will stop watching 3D as much. Your right the economy might be terrible and pople wont have the luxury, depending on how cheap it can really be. Thanks for the feedback good day.

I think it would be all 3D movies one day because nowadays, 3D movies are the latest trends of movie entertainment. Movies are really best watched on 3D format because it provides a more detailed graphics of the characters.

I think 3D is a fad and like all fads it will die. Besides the fact that the quality of the 3D products on the market varies greatly and in order to get a good 3D experience it is rather expensive I think it simply loses its appeal after a while and can actually become rather annoying. When 3D TVs first came out a few years back it was my gadget of choice for the year. This year I sold my 3D TV and went back to a regular flat screen with internet capabilities, I was just no longer impressed with the 3D capabilities it just kinda became like I've seen it all before. As technology continues to evolve we will evolve with it and one day 3D TVs will be a thing of the past just like the old analog sets and we will have moved on to bigger and better things.

I am not sure. It might. But I dont really think so because Its not something that everyone will like. People with glasses, limited sight. Or if you get dizzy with that. Your head might hurt from the eyestrain so they may lose consumers and taking a loss in that industry.

You have a point there though. I never thought about people with vision problems. this will definetly now work out too well for them. Your right about that thanks for the feedback have a nice day.

Your right there is a lot of 3D stuff out there in the world. You never know it might just happen that way that all video would go to 3D. I mean if they can make 3D without glasses then it would seem like all movies would eventually go to 3D. Me personally I think watching all movies in 3D would be really cool.
