People on the left like to drop this name like a grenade when they have nothing left to say in a political discussion. They act like saying the name ends the discussion, with them as the winner. The fact is, dropping their name is much like resorting to correcting grammar and spelling. Yes, it does mean the discussion is over, but only because you have nothing to contribute anymore.
The concept is simple, since the Koch brothers donate to conservative causes and politicians, then all conservative causes and politicians must be their puppets. However, here is a list of causes and politicians the Koch brothers have donated to. Notice how many DEMOCRATS and LIBERALS are on this list.

Geez who would of thought corrupt guys that skirt around everything that is moral and legal would buy off people on the other side of the fence also. What a surprise....NOT!
"Anytime anyone mindlessly drops their name in a discussion, I'll simply link this post and thank them for admitting they have nothing of value to say." - I guess that would be better than calling someone a rapist or genocidal freak. Good improvement!

All corporate entities tend to spread out their contributions to both sides. This list doesn't even show any very large contributions. Nothing like the millions that Obama got from those Wall Street fat cats he despises so much. Did they think OBama was the most qualified candidate? Probably not, but as sharp-eyed businessmen, they recognized that he was the most likely to win in 2008. Those that spew out the Koch brothers name in the middle of arguments about anything political are simply parroting the buzz words they are told to use in order to prevent any real debate. They don't even know anything about the Koch brothers, they have just been told they are evil incarnate and they believe what they are told.
