How I met my boyfriend is one of those stories I think will be told over and over again.
So when I met him I had been single for about 6 months and I was finally content with being single. I had been on a few dating sites and a few dates but none it seemed like what I wanted. Plus, by then I wanted a guy to ask me out in person, not through an email. So I deleted the dating sites and just focused on not worrying when I was going to meet the right guy.
So I work at a store called Walmart, as a cashier. I talk to hundreds of people a day at my job. And this is how I met my boyfriend. At first he was just an average customer. He was talkative and funny and we casually talked as I rang up his items. And then he left. I thought he was cute but I didnt ever expect to see him come back 5 minutes later.
He came back, slid me his number and said "before I lose the nerve". And the rest is history.
Weve been together now for 2 1/2 months. And when he came around I was picky.. he had everything I was looking for in a guy. Once I got to know him better I asked what it was that made him leave his number and he said it was a gut feeling he couldnt turn down.

I met my husband 7 years ago in an AOL Chatroom. He liked my screen name so we started chatting. He lived in Florida and I lived in NC so I wasn't sure if we would be able to make it work. I definitely didn't want to leave NC because my whole family was here.
My husband made the decision to leave Florida, leave his job and come to move to NC to be with me. =) That is TRUE Love!!! We lived together from day one and have been together ever since and we now have 3 kids as well. =) It is my fairy tale love story.

its what said rightly when you are going to meet the right person you will know.. i met my girl during college n it was just a hi hello kinda thng but after dat we started spending time together more n more knowing each other more.. it was just like a perfect college kind of love story...

I got home from work one evening and although feeling tired a friend talked me into accompanying her to a salsa dancing class. I went along and enjoyed the class which was held in a bar.
Some mutual friends arrived later on and we all enjoyed a drink together, including a guy I hadn't met before. We started chatting and seemed to hit it off so exchanged numbers at the end of the night. He texted me a few times the following day and I eventually agreed to meet up later in the week. We were both uncharacteristically shy but had nice time and agreed to meet again.
In between times we chatted a lot on facebook and this really helped and things progressed gradually until after a couple of months we officially became a couple. I am delighted to say we got married earlier this year :)

That is a nice way to meet someone special, I think when people actually go out and look for someone they may come across as a bit desperate looking, but when things just happen it is like maybe it was meant to be, I hope thing work out for you, he sounds very nice.

Hi there.. That's one unique story! :D I met my boyfriend here in mylot 2 years ago, and we've been together for 2 years also. I'm an IT student so most of the things I do or search here are about computers, internet and other technology stuff. Two years ago I was interested about 3D modelling, so I hooked up MyLot and made my own discussion and asking if there's a better 3D modelling software out there than 'Hexagon'. After weeks of waiting, probably four weeks with no one who had the interest to answer a simple question from me, he was the only one who responded, and he suggested to add him on yahoo messenger to talk more about the subject, so I did and then poof, never expected to go along with a guy a lot. I guess sometimes, when you are not expecting something, something beautiful comes.

You have a cute love story. Ordinary but with all the elements of thrill and excitement of love. I just hope you stay in love and once you decide to get hooked, may your love for each other stay forever burning. Oh, I met my life partner is the workplace where he thought I was just an ordinary dull poor girl but soon he learn I am smarter than him. He can't stand it so he conquer me through his charms but in the end it was him who was conquered by me! We've been together for 20 years!

Your story is really nice, sweet and romantic. Well, me too, before I met my boyfriend which now I'm with him with almost 3 years is really a long story. We've been classmate in high school and I never thought that he will be the one for me. I became single for 7 months and I just contented too like you. I thought that I will find my serious boyfriend in college but I was wrong because before the last year of the high school he proposed that he wanted to court me and before the high school was ended I just say "Yes" its been 7 months he courted me? I thought he never make it but i was wrong again. 
Yeah, I feel like he is the one that I am looking for that I never seen for almost 3 years that we've been classmates.

I met my boyfriend through Facebook. I can't remember really who first added us a friend. He said it was me. Okay, I won't deny it. But I wasn't really expecting that he will be my boyfriend though. Who would thought that? Now we are going to celebrate our anniversary by this December. I am so thankful that I am met him.

Nice love story phoenix1344! :) As for me, I met him in college He is my classmate. We have common friends, so that's how we got to know each other. We, together with our other friends bonded through after class drinking. Both of us or no one ever expected that we would go this far. We've been together for a good 3 years and 8 months now and it all started with a kiss. :)

That is what love is. It shows up when we least expect it. I really appreciated your story and I hope the relationship succeeds. Seems like you are really meant for each other because it was fate that put you together. I met my most significant other at work. He was a friend for years and though I had an instant attraction, I never worked on it. I never realized he had some feelings for me but since we were both attached to our respective partners then we suppressed the feelings. It was only later when we were both unattached that we had a relationship. We are on our fourth year of a beautiful relationship but we are facing a most difficult trial at the moment. I just wish and pray that this relationship will be strong enough to endure the test; otherwise, I would be totally devastated. I don't know what the future has in store for us but I am still hoping for the best.

we used to be classmates during grade school..i received my first letter from him,fons were expensive at that time unlike nowadays you can see small childen having one already..anyways,after we graduated he went to another place and studied there..after 11 years we saw each other again during our batch reunion but that time i already have a boyfriend..we talked,goes out with my freinds and relatives and i started to fall for him but told him that i have a boyfreind and as of the moment i have plans in my life and sad to say youre not included in that plan and i must stick to it..after 3 years we met again and i'm happy his still there for me though we're in this long distance relationship hope everything works out fine..
