christmas trip this year with friends- any ideas??

Hi everyone, Over Thanksgiving party this year, our group of friends has finally decided to taking a long anticipated holiday trip together for this Christmas.My best friend, Ananya and i being the most seasoned travelers of the group(and that's not saying much)they'v appointed us as the trip planners. The problem is there are so many great destinations out there and i don't know what to choose! any suggestions? I am looking for someplace that'll appeal to our broad range of interests, and within the continental U.S. or Canada. Preferably someplace with snow so my friends can witness a "White Christmas" :) We are looking to spend no more than 6-7 days and spend about $1200-$1500 per person incl. of airfare. Any ideas? Thanx ahead of time.
