Specially during the rainy season and even during the winter many catch cold and get flu fever easily. The main symptoms of getting cold and flu are sour throat or irritation in the throat and lungs. One may continuously sneeze. The patient will suffer from chills. You need to take bedrest and cover yourself with blankests. You may experience great exhaustion, tiredness, aches and pain, conjestion and caugh. You may get get severe caugh after being healed from the fever. The fever flu will leave you so much worn out and you suffer from body pain. You need to take care well otherwise the healing will be lengthy.

So you are the patient and suffering? Again this sounds as if you are copying some info from somewhere. A cold and the flue are the same to me btw. There are many different symptoms one can have, but just shivering or upsets intestines can also be the flu. some take only 2-3 days, others longer. just sneezing or coughing or a sour throat I even don't see as the flu anymore. i don't think anyone over here would. We all come out of bed, go to school or our job. Also all the symptoms you describe can be caused by many other illnesses or be side effects from medication. It's not clear what you mean by; you need to take well care otherwise the healing will be lengthy. I think if you go over with the flu to the doctor over here he will tell you to leave since you are wasting his time for having nothing. You are not allowed to stay home or in bed (no mother can do that btw), you go on with your life. BTW they also say: the older you get the less flu you get (you have more antibodies), nobody is dying of hard working (might be a dutch saying) and: soft healmasters make stinky wounds! I wish you a good health.

Just 3 weeks ago i had my bout of flu. I got it from a co-employee who had it and who got it from another employee. In other words, we at the office had it , one after the other. After my bout with flu, i had to file a leave for one week , wherein everyday, i get to report to work later by one hour. It is for me to be able to sleep a lot more and regain my strength and built again. Now, i am back to my normal self again.

of course....it is better u have warm water during rainy / winter season. after catching cold, honey in warm water is the best option. it clears our throat and also it is antiseptic. i also recommend people to have lemon ginger tea. just few drops of lemon juice in black tea, this really drives away cold in a jiffy. also turmeric and pepper is very good medicine for cold, like u can add turmeric and pepper powders in warm milk and drink.

Yup.that is right and good for the health. We must take good care of it since hospitalization today is very expensive thus medication that has been prescribed by the doctor cost a lot.Even if it was only simple cough and cold.So to us in respond we must take vitamin c.We may have balance diet.Like eating nutritious foods, vegetables, fruits, meats and increase fluid intake. We may minimize lack of sleep also this could decrease the strength of our immune system. That could further lead us to sickness.

I always suffer from tonsillitis if I eat too much sweets and those you mentioned above are the common symptoms I feel. Instead of taking antibacterial meds, I chose to treat it naturally by gargling salt in a lukewarm water. Its just kind frustrating cos I love sweets a lot, but too much of everything is not good. I need to cut this bad eating habit when it comes to candy bars, ice creams and cakes.
