As I went home tonight, along the road I already see people, young or old started to caroling to different houses. Because of that, I suddenly remembered when I was still young doing also Christmas carols. It was indeed so much fun. We sing different Christmas songs. We use spoon and forks while singing. Now, it i impossible to do it since I feel shy already.

When I was younger, my parents would not let me go carolling as they said that that they were worried incase something should happen to me whilst I was out singing on people's doorsteps. Since I became older and more able to look after myself, it is something that I have chosen to do often either by myself or with a group of friends. I love it because I feel that it brings the spirit of Christmas to the neighbourhood and might make people smile. Smiling is important at Christmas, because nobody should be sad at this time of year.

Yes I share your joy. There is a lot of fun in the group, an occasion to enjoy and share the talents. An experience we love to cherish and narrate when years pas by at least with the children. Sometimes the children may get surprised to recognize that their parents too had their day once to entertain.

You both have such a very nice message with regards to my discussion about Christmas caroling. I appreciate it a lot. For GemmaR, our parents are just being protective. It is not something we should feel bad. They just want us to be safe from bad people or any circumstance. And for srjac0902, sharing joy to others especially during Christmas season is a good deed. We meet a lot of people and we make them happy because we entertain them. They see as so cute Christmas caroling.

If we decide to make a difference positively even today Christmas makes a difference. Today wqe are not as we had been in those days, simple and ehtusiastic. But even today we can contribute something pleasant as you are doing here by sharing, reding yours may may recall to their old use of celebrating Christmas and they too may use some creativty

Hi to both of you, srjac0902 and ardoy0731! Thank you for taking time reading my post. I believe you remembered also the things you did when you were young during Christmas. It may be different from mine, but still we recognize the essence of Christmas.

Caroling was so much fun when we were young. There were those who generously gave but there were also those who gave but ask you not to come back, lol. Dogs even chased us and good thing we outrun them. Last time we tried they said you should have a permit to go caroling. Merry christmas!

I can really relate with what you said. Caroling is fun. Some people give us money or food like candies or chocolates instead of money. We understand those who can't give. At least we have able to entertain them through our songs. With dogs, you have to run fast.
