Do you drink water straight from the tap or get store bought?

At home, I can't drink our water. It tastes just nasty. Although, I can drink it if it's has flavoring, such as Kool-Aid. We have to get store water for my to drink from, and it's also used for my baby's formula bottles.

I drink water from the tap sometimes, but other times we just buy gallons of purified water. But the tap water is sterilized, we have a purifier for it, which is why i does not taste bad. You should buy one too, it is a bit costly but it makes water safe to drink.

I live in Australia, where bottled water is way too expensive, but it doesnt really matter. oour, or mine at least tap water is amazing. I would much rather drink it over bottle water. No filters or anything, just plain tap water.

I drink tap water and it´s reasonable good. Now that I´ve been ill, I boil it, just in case. I also bought a purifier. It is unexpensive and you can filter some the extra minerals and some of the tar.

There is nothing wrong with tap water. It all depends it the water from the faucets is clean. There are treatments in the water reservoir. The problems actually, are the pipings laying under our grounds. since there are no ways of cleaning these pipes, over the years, they become dirty. I have to remind you that there are some rural and provincial areas which have underground pipes as old as 60 years or more. can you imagine the dirt in these pipes where water passes through? Other than that, we cannot be sure if the pipings inside the restaurants that we go to are new and clean. there may be establishments whose pipings have been there for more than 50 years. It would be better to be safe than sorry. Especially those old buildings where these pipes are made of iron. rust becomes the problem, and this may go with the tap water we drink. It is therefore so much safer to be drinking filtered water. Having said, i would prefer bottled mineral water better than just tap water. Reason is that we will never know how clean the pipes inside the restaurants or the house connecting to the faucets are. they may have been there for more than 50 years. we will never be able to tell, and since there is no way of cleaning these pipes, i would like to stay on the safe side and drink bottled mineral water.

Here in Kerala we have wells for each houses. So there is not much scarcity of water. I enjoy the use of water. These water can be used for both bathing as well as cooking purpose. Well water are also used for other things like agriculture, gardening etc.

I would drink it either way, but I prefer buying it from the store because it taste so much better than the tap. It's not the the tap water is bad, but the bottled stuff taste more pure. I didn't use to care at first but now that I realize how much different the water taste, I just stock up on the water from the store. I load up on the gallon jugs because I find myself drinking an entire gallon in a short period of time. But I do reuse some of the jugs to make my personal stash of kool-aid, which for me is the cheapest drink I could make, when I want something with some flavor in it.
My family gets bothered that I drink out of the jug, and can't figure out why there are gallons of water around the house. I workout and work hard, and because of my size, I can easily go through 2 gallons of water a day. So for me, a jug is my glass, and because I am growing, it is getting smaller to me.
