Well, I think Spain will be working hard to qualify since their group is consider though besides group B. As we know, Spain has beaten by Italy 1-2 on recent friendly match,so de Bosque maybe must be aware of the Italian team.

I think my predictions match yours for most of the part. The only difference is that instead of France I think both Sweden and Ukraine have a good chance of making the knockouts. I think Ireland have a tough draw, but the heartbreak of missing out on the World Cup would really spur them on and they can upset Italy on their day. Cheers! Ram

Honestly there is not a single group that is easy, although Group A seems to be for Russia and Czech but Poland as host is not to be taken lightly. And who can forget the Greeks how they won the Championship against all odds? I will go for Russia and Poland. Group B is truly a hard to predict one with Germany and Netherlands as the favorites. But any team with Cristiano Ronaldo, you just can't underestimate. Portugal is a good team with many good players. Denmark has been doing well and they are unlucky to be placed with the other more illustrious teams. But they can still spring a surprise or two like they did before. Germany and The Netherlands are my picks. Group C surely is Spain's but it will be a close fight for the other 3 teams. But I have a feeling that it will be between Ireland and Croatia to grab the other birth to qualify. Maybe Italy will draw all the three matches. Group D will be represented by 2 of the 3 teams except Ukraine. England is always the favorite in every tournament as well as the flop. France is not too far off either, but this time I will expect both of them to do well if they can hold off Sweden. Ukraine with home ground advantage will be trying hard but I feel that they will not qualify from the group.
