It would just be 20 days before Christmas Holiday and again this season is a season of giving and a lot of vacations. Unfortunately, every move you need money. For example in order for us to have something as a present to our love ones we need money to buy those things. For us to have delicious or occasional foods during Christmas party we need money. This is how powerful money can be. It's just frustrating that you know that you're working so hard but you didn't earn anything or save at least a little because it's just that your salary is not that enough for daily living. Terrible but true!, Would this because of the world crisis that everybody is affected!, I really don't know the answer. But the only thing I want to know is that would there be a way to spend this holiday without MONEY???, I am just praying or imagining that Money do exist (laugh*sigh)... I wish someone could give me MONEY as a Christmas gift, hoping!

I have been saving money from mylot and other web sites in order to have a great Christmas. It has been a lot of hard work, but I was able to do it. I have to cut back on how much I spend this Christmas and I always make sure that my niece and nephew gets presents first (since Christmas is about the children). Then after that I buy my husband gifts, my brother, my sister and my parents. This year I can buy for everyone which makes me happy. I am also taking a jewelry making class and I am hoping that by the 1st of next year I will be able to make enough jewelry to sell online. I am hoping to learn how to make necklaces and bracelets as well.

It is a little hard to answer this question. Because it seems we can't get gifts, delicious foods without money. But i think the most important thing is love. If the house is filled with love, even simple foods can also make a happy christmas. It is more important to try to keep a high spirit and you know, worry can kill men. Just remember, so many people are experiencing the same situation as you. The economic crisis is affecting almost every one. Wish it is over as soon as possible, so we can have more money to spend on festivals, including Christams.

I have that problem, made me regret leaving a job two months ago for a vacation. i got a long vacation alright, now my money is gone. i spent it all, other people also ask money from me. I feel terrible, because when i had the money, the thought of depositing it into a bank account never occurred to me. how i wish i had, at least i would have saved some money for this season. now i'm broke, still job hunting. i would spend it at home, i guess. i can't give anyone a gift. why is it that every one keeps asking me for gifts, so much that i can't even buy things for myself? i was so careless with my money... i did not value it enough back then, now, i will be more careful. ahha, i'm hoping that some relatives of mine would give me money. they rarely do. damn...

I don't know how to spend it without any money at all, but how much you spend depends on your situation. If you need decorations, go for the natural. Pinecones, shiny rocks, whatever. Gather up any and all clothing or linens in Christmas colors. For instance, cover a throw pillow with a red shirt, pinned in the back. Use a green napkin or towel under a bowl filled with a paper chain made from old magazines and catalogs, sprigs of evergreen and small bows made from anything red or green or whatever colors you want. Use your imagination. Make a stocking from cloth or paper. Fold the cloth or paper over, draw a stocking shape, cut it out then glue or stitch the edges together. Glue cotton balls on the top for a cuff. A paper stocking may not hold much but it will look festive. If you need a gift for a child, make a sock monkey from a sock. You can find directions online. Gather up a lot of boxes of different shapes and sizes and paint or cover them with cloth. Kids will have a blast with them. For older kids, fill a box with your old clothes, hats, wallets, etc. Dress up is fun for every kid. If you knit or crochet or do needlepoint, you probably have things around to work with. Make lip gloss, coupons for special things (a night to stay up an hour past their bedtime), pillows and so on. Why do you celebrate Christmas? Maybe a little introspection is in order. You don't have to have money to have Christmas.

It certainly can be difficult to spend Christmas without any money. It's not something that can be pleasant for anyone, but sometimes you have to. And I'm sure that it is possible to do so with little to no money for some.

I don't spned alot on Christmas presents. I only buy for my 2 youngest neices and the person at work,in the Chrsitmas exchange, I had picked. I could not afford more then that! I can barely afford what I am buying! Bills always come first and what is left,if anything, then I buy presents! With no money there is no way to buy anybody gifts! At all! I have to put my piorities first then Christmas seond!

It is maybe the situation will be very different when celebrating Christmas without the money from that usually celebrate Christmas at all. Actually there is no one who would not spend money at the time of celebrating Christmas, even they who have limited money or money shortages, wanted to give the best gift at the time of celebrating Christmas. And, if I do not have the money at all, I will still celebrate Christmas by inviting neighbors get together and take potluck with a cheerful Christmas songs reverberate. I think we are not required to spend a lot of money, a definite meaning of Christmas can be more profound and meaningful to me.

Well, you can spend Christmas with the family even if you don't have that much money. If you are an employee, of course you have a budget for food. So, on Christmas day, make it a bit special. A little scrimping on the allowance can help you. What is important is you get to spend it with your family, go to church together(if you are a Christian)and maybe watch DVD at home. As for the gifts, you can talk with everyone that your budget isn't enough for it. The family will understand.

Me and my family will be celebrating Christmas day without money. We started by preparing & cleaning the house, decorating and putting the Christmas Tree without lights on. This helps to lessen the electric bills. My youngest daughter started to pack Christmas presents for all of us which she bought in the school affair which cost around .25 to .50 cents. My oldest daughter wanted a compact powder and as we are cleaning, my youngest saw one which is still new but forgotten in the box. She got it and wrap it in Christmas wrapper then put a card on the top. By following my youngest daughter's example, I guess Christmas would be fine. For the food, we will spend the night with my In Laws and the next day to my mother, so there is no problem. Christmas doesn't have to be extravagant, just being with my family will surely make me happy and contented.

Well, we can spend christmas with Jesus and our family. In this way we can not spend money, or we may spend a little amount. Let us remember that Jesus was born without the luxury of a hospital or inn. I guess it's not really compulsory to spend so much for christmas. A little will do. Christmas season is made an excuse for commercialization. Lots of decors, ornaments, etc. for christmas has been sold. But if we have extra amount for spending, we still can do so. It has been our tradition since time immemorial.

I could spend holiday without money if I spend my christmas at my parents' house. But that would just be rude. I don't really know how to answer your query because for me, It's impossible not to spend anything during the holidays, special during Christmas. hmmm.... I guess you just spend what you can spend. If it means spending christmas as just a normal day, they, i guess it would be for the better. This is just my opinion, so you don't really need to do what I say. Hope you find a way through you're dilemma. have a good day
