what kind of shows do you avoid watching

Like you I avoid politics and celebrity gossip shows, I prefer watching a good movie or sit com.

I like to watch shows that give you advises for specific situation that can happen to us, can be shows about health, law,or daily life,like doctor ox,or law and order,or doctor phil. I don't like shows that present the life o a person since they get up until they go to sleep, is like their life is more important than mine,because I do what they do and they don't make a tv show of my life. I don't like the tv shows were the people fight because they find out that his her couple is cheating on them,and the shows that have to make a DNA to know who is the father of the baby.That is vulgar.

For me yes it is good idea you make by doing it you follow what Jesus Christ do in his life keep up the good work Jehovah God will get reward in you.

I like watching the news when i arrive home from work. Sometimes, i would watch another network for the news at night and in the morning , another network. That way, i don't get to hear repeated news. Though, unlike you i like listening to celebrity news. I find them amusing. At night after dinner, i would always watch my favorite soap, but not those dramas. I like soaps which are light and have some moral lessons. When my husband arrives, i like watching gag shows with him while trying to get sleepy. But usually we don't get sleepy , because we are laughing at some gags. I like it that we sleep happy, seeing those gag shows.

as much as possible i don't like to encounter horror and suspense shows..I surely will have them in my dreams once i got to sleep. i like watching current events and political news..

I must say that I don't watch TV at all, I find it very annoying because there is a lot of bad news on it so every show I watch I download from internet that way I can filter all bad shows like reality shows, news ,celebrities shows and constantly repeated movies.

The kinds of shows I avoid watching on television are many, and would include soap operas; food shows; most talent shows, reality TV shows, nature shows and quiz shows; makeover shows; all shows set in hospitals...unless I was too lazy to get up and was just vegetating. I tend to like some (and only some) movies, or especially good dramas; documentaries; music shows; historical programmes; and current affairs programmes. I'll watch a travel show if it's especially well-made; such as a recent on British TV about South America, charismatically presented by Jonathan Dimbleby: it was excellent, and highly intelligent.

Reality tv just annoys me most of the time w/ people put into senario's the rest of the world will never deal with... nonetheless knowing that anyone who is on any of the top rated shows thinks they deserve to become a celebrity and hollywood career. I don't watch the CSI or the alike crime dramas' they are usually on too early (the kids are still up), the content is inappropriate, and they don't always infer what happened they focus on every lil gush of blood. Then ya got other shows like soaps who live in this fantasy world of endless lavish money, life style, and all sorts of things that go on around them. Though many soaps have disappeared from the line ups on tv in the past couple of years. And I very much dislike talk shows they have cute skits for the first few minutes and then off promoting this or that celeb's latest work which I could care less about.

HI, This is Ritika, I also donot like political news so that, even i donot like crime news, if i read them or watch them, i cann't concentrate on my work, because there are always news coming of cheating, robbering and many other crimes which makes my mind upset. I like to spend my time to learn things which i like online, like learning english and spending time on social networking sites, In these days i am spending time to learn writing articles. I try to avoid most shows really! lol!I watch the regular, local news and occasionally the national news. I do like a couple of shows that I try to watch regularly and I watch some football or other sports. I do not like any type of real scarey show and I do not watch shows with graphic murders or stuff like that. I like some of the lawyer shows, but I wait til about 10 minutes in so I do not have to see the crime!

i am avoiding to watch BOXING and BASKETBALL but if Manny Pacquiao's matches, it is an exception, can't sleep and excited to watch

Now a days I have no interest in watching news in a TV. In most of the news here contain political aspects which I have no interest in them.Watching political news gives more boring to me than watching an advt..(!)

I avoid television most of the time. I seldom watch in the evening (at daytime no time for that). I don't like the news (it's not objective), I don't like soaps, gossiping and the never ending talkshows about nothing. I also find it very annoying to watch 15 min. of a movie and 10 or 20 min. of commercials. It's a waste of my time and not relaxing to watch a movie like that. So this means there is only 1-3 senders left over who don't have this way of broadcasting. I sender mostly broadcasting criminals (all kinds of incl. documentaries) which is fine with me since I like that. I find it a pity there is so less humor on tv. Good thing I have many dvd's I can watch when I like.

i watch new and entertainment shows. keeps me updated on what's new. but i have not been watching soaps coz almost all story are the same. i don't want shows with lots of tears and wherein the lead role will only succeed in the end.

hi friend i like to watch tv and most of the times i watch cricket because i like cricket very much but beside cricket i also like other shows like comedy,news,movies etc and i like family shows and i also dislike the political news and songs .i like only old songs.

I also avoid the news and all current event shows that dwell so much on politics. They just focus on the bad news anyway and they're kind of depressing. Some even over-dramatize and sensationalize things just to make them "newsworthy". I also don't like horror shows and paranormal stuffs.

Lol but I am entertained by these celebrities as they make their life's in circus. I watch the news every 6pm and I can't avoid that celebrity news also, I find it amusing to know their lifes too. What I don't like to watch is some boring telenovelas that looks like there was no ending and the actresses and actors are sucks in acting.
