As we know, the destiny of Chelsea, Man City and Man United will be decided on upcoming Champion league match. They should fight until the last match to be able to qualify from their group. United maybe has better position since they will only play against Basel, but remember they will be a visitor and Basel has shown great performance on first match at Old Trafford. Chelsea and City will have great match against Valencia and Muenchen respectively, Chelsea chance will be thougher since Valencia is also hungry for a winning and last match they crush genk by 7-0!! City will becomes a host and Muenchen has already qualified,so City must working harder to win at home while muenchen maybe not taking it seriously even though they coach said differently.. So what is your prediction? Who will qualify to join Arsenal in the next stage of Champion League?

At least with Man Utd and Chelsea, they have to do what is required and will secure qualification. Unlike Man City who have to beat the undefeated Bayern Munich and hope the winless Villareal will do them a favour. Having said that, Valencia and Basel is no walk in the park. Both Man Utd and Chelsea got to upped their game in order to get anything out of it. If all fails, then we will have the unlikely case of Arsenal being the only club in the knockout stage. This scenario will have implication on the number of spots allocated to the English team in future champions league.

it seems a big failure for Mancini this season if he can`t bring his team qualified from the group stage...many people will say "hu uh" after he had told too much about his team and the result is zero...

I don't think if only Arsenal qualify for the knockout stages then UEFA will reduce the number of teams from the English Premier League. It is only this season that the english clubs look very down otherwise the english clubs tend to be in most of the finals. This season Manchester City are new to the format and so they cant cope with the intensity of the group games of the Champions League. Chelsea have as always a new manager and the new manager needs some time to get the proper team in place and he is under a huge amount of pressure from the owner to do well this season. Also Fernando Torres's form is not helping. Manchester United haven't got the central midfield right this season and they require a marque signing to help them as Tom Cleverly is injured right now.

I am replying after the matches, so know the results now. So Chelsea has gone through by winning their match against Valencia 3-0. Man City were very unlucky to go out of CL despite beating Napoli 2-0 and reaching 10 points. Man United lost 2-1 to Basel and were dumped out of the CL as well. Both Man City and Man United will now play in the Europa League. Cheers! Ram
