There was a story of an Eagle that lays egg in the forest and unfortunately the man put it on the chicken's nest. When the eagle been growing up, it grows like chicken, scratching dirt and eating what the chicken eats, walk like chicken and does what every chicks does... One day he saw the eagle flying in the sky, he ask what kind of bird is that.. the hen told him that it was an eagle, it belongs to the sky and we belong to earth... then without knowing what he was an eagle, he remain and die as a chicken... So sad.. that in our life we don't know our identity for sometimes... God made us an eagle but we live with the chicken world that we fail to realize that we belong to the sky not to earth.... Why not stop scratching the dirt and start to fly like an eagle.. for God made us to be like an eagle.. to soar high.... we are the head not the tail... we must know our identity in Jesus Christ.. He died for us so that we will become worthy to be called sons and daughters of God... What are you? Eagle or Chicken?

Bravo! I think you've got all bases covered there. There is always an answer to any question, just by using simple logic. For my part, I really don't know which came first. If one subscribes to the teachings of the Theory of Evolution (which is just a theory) then all eagles come from eggs, but not all eggs have to come from eagles. So if one or the other DID come first, the answer would have to be that the egg came first, in that case. On the other hand, if one accepts the literal story from Genesis in the Old Testament, then God put the eagle on earth along with all the other living things, and they proliferated from that point on. And in that case, the eagle preceded the egg. As I said, I don't have a definite opinion myself as to which came first. I personally don't believe that the idea of "evolution" is sufficient to account for the enormous diversity of species on the planet, now and in the past, each exquisitely suited to their particular ecological niche and/or supremely adaptable to a changing environment. But rejecting the Theory of Evolution as the "answer" doesn't exclude something else going on. Life is a marvellous thing, and has an inherent intelligence which is stupendously more capable and mysterious than the simple random game of dice suggested by the Theory of Evolution. At the end of the day, the Universe isn't just a big bag of red and black marbles producing chance outcomes. In my opinion, that point of view, no matter how intricate and elaborate it's many extensions and variations might become, is a fabrication designed to eliminate the necessity for God to exist. Which is just plain silly. However He chose to do it, God created all things, seen and unseen. Even a blind mullet starting with nothing can work that out.

Hi simple_joy1587, I'm not a chicken or an eagle, I'm a dodo! That sounds like one mighty big chicken you're talking about there - they must have enjoyed some juicy big drumsticks for Christmas dinner. You forgot the story about the baby chicken that got left in the eagle's nest. That might have been him they saw flying in the sky. Actually, I don't think we're living with chicken here on Earth. More like sheep - although humans certainly do like to flock together and peck the weakest among them.

hi dodo... hahaha.. yah your dodo! and your a man.. by the way that's a story shared for us to change our mindset.. we are made for greater things don't just settle for less.. The mindset of a chicken is "Me" centered, while the eagle, since belongs to the sky meaning it can see the need of others... God bless you

Hi again, Well I'm not so sure an eagle is all that concerned about helping others, but the eagle probably has a wider perspective from 10,000 feet than the chicken at 1 inch from the ground. You know, there's an alternate position that can be taken on this - the chicken is built to scratch and peck and lay eggs, and may be perfectly content to do this. God has all the feathers counted on even the tiniest bird, and all are His creations. We all have a purpose in life, and God loves each of us dearly - being limited by circumstance or poverty, or cast in the mould of a chicken, shouldn't discourage us from that truth.
