As you know I have abeen out of work for a while so last week I started this part time job and it is with someone I have worked with several times and never got along with her I mean she is supposedly supposed to be my best friend. But this girl is almost impossible to be around for a long period of times and has been fired from several different places but I really didn't want to say no to thesjob bit anyway I went and it was awful! I mean for $8.00 an hour they sure do expect a lot! Please! And so I was really sick today so I called in and I really don't care! I woke up body was aching all over and a sore throat and hot and cold and this woman I am sure is going to yell at the top of her lungs at me for not being there today and if you only knew how many people don't like to be around her at all because she is so loud and just over dramatic about everything you would know what I am talking about and my husband didn't want me going there working with her in the first place! The place where I last worked I was happy I made more $ and It was full time well kind of but almost here is only part time. And Geez! tHEY TOLD ME THE TRAING WAS GOING TO START AT 1O an hour which was a lie. And this woman thinks this is the only place on teh earth that will; hire me! Not! I was told by m y old baoss to come back when I got everything together my car fixed and ect. And the funny old man there we were talking at break one day and he told me you know even if you leave for a while he will always take you back and I know that! It is so hard to deal with this woman it is like she wants to run everything that you do! Well not this time! I am so mad at myself for accepting this job!

A work place should be in a good working environment. it seems that you are not in a good working environment. you should go back to your old job. and leave that woman to suffer (evil laugh) 3:)
but really she doesn't really need to be that bad to other people. you should go tell her to have an appointment with a therapist for anger management or something.

Micro managing gets people no where in my opinion. Their employees begin to have no respect for their bosses. I think the majority of society just wants to do their jobs and be left alone. It sounds like this jobs getting off to a bad start already. Sorry to hear that. I hope things get better for you. Best Wishes!

Yeah I can't stand it already! The pay is awful! And for that kind of pay they sure do expect a lot! I stayed home again today I am really sick and didn't want to get out there in this 20 degree weather we are having today! Thanks and have a great day!

Good grief! Texas went from a major heat wave to the 20s.BURRRR Our temperatures are in the 10s-20s. Too darn cold it you ask me. I need to find a place with temps in the 75-85 year round. Do you have any ideas?

If you can take the other job, why take this one with a person you don´t get along? She might be a good friend, but not necessarily a good boss. What is the matter with your car? When will it get fixed?

Was your husband supposed to fix the car or someone else? I hope you get it fixed soon. It seems that you are not the kind of person to stay at home all day.

I would love to return to my old job but the problem is it is farther away than his job and we have one car and it is making all kinds of noises and he was suppossed to fix it last weekend and did not do it!

First of all you should ask yourself why you don't like this girl. Is it because she is a girl/woman and in charge of you?
Is this something you can't stand? It doesn't matter if this is the fact, but what matters is to know yourself.
If this is not working for you, you have to leave and find something better.
I also like to add that you can only be a boss if you have people who are willing to work for you. If there is nobody there is also nobody to be in charge of.
A good boss should also accept input from employees. Tell them time is important to you and you have doubts about everything if they don't start at the time they say they would.

I know what you mean. I had a similar experience. I just ignored her because she thought she was the Queen of the world.

This women sounds like she has a BIG EGO. You did the right thing by staying out if your sick. I don't agree with staying on a job that is stressful. Do what you have to do girl!
