Is ordering grilled chicken at KFC wrong?

Hello my KFC loving friends, I was just thinking - KFC in a nutshell is and always has been about fried chicken, so is ordering their grilled chicken variety the wrong choice? I was talking with a friend and he said that it's just silly to go to a fried chicken restaurant just to order something like grilled chicken. He compared it to going to a Mexican restaurant and hoping to order a burger and fries. What do you all think? Personally I agree, and although I have tried the grilled chicken (it wasn't bad), I can't imagine going to KFC and ignoring that delicious original recipe.

It will be silly if you order something that not listed in KFC's menu. If the grilled chicken is listed, why not? KFC won't sell something if they are not sure that it's great taste. Go order your grilled chicken

Grilled chicken - Healthy or dirty?
I actually have not been eating at KFC for quite sometime. I find their original recipe too salty but I used to like their spicy fried chicken. But later,I got quite bored with the taste of their chicken. I find them so greasy and unhealthy and besides the last time I ate there I got a part that has some stench taste which I really did not like. Since then I avoided KFC. I don't even know that they now offer grilled chicken.

I think someone is wound too tight. If you go to a restaurant, you should be free to order anything from the menu (unless you are on a diet). No guilt or remorse necessary. I suggest that until there is a Kentucky Grilled Chicken restaurant, it is OK to take advantage of the Colonel's goodness.

Nothing silly about ordering grilled chicken in KFC if the grilled chicken is listed in the restaurant's menu, so long as you are not ordering something out of a blue moon, where the restaurant doesn't sell, it is perfectly reasonable for you to order grilled chicken which is KFC's new product other the traditional fried chicken. Your friend is dumb and can't read the menu properly. Ordering burger and fries in mexican restaurant is fine too if it sell them, they may even taste like hamburger even though it is make in Mexican restaurant, you never know whether it is delicious or not until you taste it.

I guess cause they don't offer a grilled chicken. Their fried chicken is really good especially the spicy one,but don't forget their tasty gravy.Hmm yummy. There one instances that I do order a wrong burger in a fast food lol,the cashier just laugh at me as I laugh myself in ordering the wrong burger.

When I was pregnant I loved hi Ken but I couldn't have fried chicken when on the road so I had together grilled chicken and not many places do grilled chicken.

In my opinion, it's not wrong at all. This is a new variety of products that they try to put on the market and check if people like it or not, but the original recipe which they are known for, "fried chicken" is their signature product and still is there. I like KFC as well for their unique and delicious taste of fried chicken. happy mylotting

There is nothing wrong to it. However I do believe that their fried chicken may taste better than that grilled chicken. This is because they are professional in serving fried chicken and not grilled chicken. The grilled chicken act as a product of diversifying. They are probably just adding more options to their menu for customer to choose from. Taste is not guaranteed though XD

I agree whole-heartedly! Why do that? Its moronic to say the least. Go to a specialised place for what you want, its like hiring and electrician to clean your Pipes at home!
