boss is always boss. either he/she is true or wrong. but you have always to say 'yes sir'. boss should be assertive and goal-oriented, able to overcome hurdles, good manager and supervisor, down-to-earth. but most of the bosses by nature are dictators. many of us prefer male boss and some feel more comfortable with female boss. what about you? with whom you are more comfortable and why?

I had had a male boss before in my very first job and i can say that those two bosses are really understanding ones. They don't compete with me, in terms of dressing. Unlike a female boss i had, oh she's always looking at the way i dress, every time i report to work. And i can see jealousy as she looks at me. But i am happy with my current female boss, because she's not that at all. She's a kind , considerate and generous boss!

One thing is sure, enelym, she feels that you are a competitor to your boss, since they are now lovers. She's insecure of you, because you dresses well.

SimplyD... That is so true. Female boss always looks at the way I dress too. When she's new in the company she's telling me that I'm the sweetest girl in the company, and by the way she is way younger than me. Now, when she became a boss because my boss and her became lovers... one day she told me, I am not the sweetest girl anymore Oh we have war letters at some point, and to my surprise one day, she became nice again to me... oh she's really crazy!

hi...well it doesn't matter who is your boss. the only thing is that he/she must be supportive. if boss is down-to-earth then it makes us more comfortable to work with them. the behavior of your boss is the only important point to make yourself comfortable. that's it...

Hi there... I never had any preferences about the gender of my boss, until before 3-4 years... I was working with another orgnization and my boss was a lady aged 28-29 at that time. One evening, when everyone was gone and I was about to leave too; she stopped me. She took me out for dinner and we made out that night. After that I've always wanted to have such lady tigresses as my boss.. They are hard when in office and when the right time comes, they give everything to you without asking for it... :-)

male boss or female boss. honestly I would feel better with a male boss because I understand very well with men. Yet I have many women priyatelik and therefore prefer male boss. I still hope to have such a head after a while because now I'm unemployed. nice day!

To my experience, it depends on the attitude. But mostly I will generally be more comfortable with a male boss because they look more impersonal and straight to the point. Most female boss have certain attitude and are emotional-based or more on intuition.Sorry maybe I am exaggerating. I hate those female angst and favoritism, makes me confused of female's other advantages. Irks me no end.

i am fully agreed with you. some ones liking or disliking of bosses depends on attitude of boss. it doesn't make any different whether boss is male or female. if she/he is gentle. she/he will be more favourable to everyone.

I am more comfortable with a male boss. Everything is straight to the point, no emotional outbursts and certainly no competition. I have had the experience of having a female boss who will always show some kind of irritation every I came to work in something better than what she is wearing. We are almost of the same age and she was really pretty but so insecure of herself. I am not competing with her because she really looks prettier than me but I have self confidence that she seems to lack. Our manager was a male and I got along fine with him. We became friends and up to now that I am no longer working for the company, we have remained friends and I mean friends not some other kind of relationship.

hi ChoukseyMk As a woman when I was wor king I always worked for the head nurse who of course was a woman or while working in the library I worked for the female branch manager, I do not think I would have been comfortable working for a male boss. Too m uch good old boy attitudes in a lot of male bosses. they will patronize a female 'employee and I dislike that very much..

there are some of the areas like hospitals, hotels, airlines and so many where only female can work very efficiently. such type of jobs are not atall suitable for male employees.

in our field of work, not all but most of the male bosses are more lenient than a female boss. female bosses are also very keen to details and can sometimes be strict.

I have a thought that I was no longer working for the boss. I was working for myself. I indeed need a respect, so I would respect others including my boss. It motivated me to work better, because I didn't wanna be criticized by other or be criticizing other with their work result. I don't care about them. I only cared about my job. That's all.

Personally I don't care. I also don't look upon a "boss" as the one who is always right. It doesn't work that way. Jobs been filled by other people, work be done is a coöperation between 2 or more people and you can only work effective and be a good empolyee if you are also willing to do more, think about the fact how the job can be done best. That is also a good reason to hire someone to do the work. BTW over here we say only a dog has a boss!

From my working experiences, I feel more comfortable working with a male boss. I think the male bosses are more professional in dealing with his staff. They don't include so much emotions at work. For them work is work. But for female bosses, it will include gossips and you need to always try to please them. That's just based on what I experienced.

you are correct, enelym. i also personally feel that male bosses are very meticulous for their work. they need output. i never had experience working with lady boss.

I prefer male bosses because they focus on facts, reason and logic. Women tend to focus on senses and feelings which I think is a bit awkward especially at work.

whatever gender they are ..i care only for the payment and thats why I am there to work..not to judge and guide my boss to be too nice..I havent seen any boss in my firm being too nice..at some point of time they would show their true nature.

I have no preference. I like : competent boss, educated and fair. If the boss is a man or woman, no matter. Whats annoys me is incompetent leader.

am comfortable dealing with a male boss. im kinda use to my male supervisor. he's not that cool but i like the way a man deals with problems, mostly. may it be personal or work related. they dont just get in, though they're not like women who sympathize but they give you advises you'll know you'll get by. i prefer bosses that are not emotional because i dont want them to be when i am.

My experience with women bosses, is horrible. I hope I never have a woman boss, and if I interview for a job, and the boss is a woman, I will be less likely to take the job.
