Early morning as we wake up we may feel blank without thoughts. Then we may be are aware of ourselves and we cannot remember where we are or what we are about to. Then we become aware of ourselves. If we had retired to bed with painful or negative thoughts then once again we visualize them. If we had pleasant thoughts we visualize the pleasant thoughts. Then we may program our mind. The thoughts will flow like the waves in the sea as we doze on our bed. We ourselves and we might have seen others too, as soon as we wake up either we linger on our bed or we sit and think and continue to think. These moments, when we wake up are golden moments. When we perceive consciously of ourselves, there is a transition of subconscious mind and conscious mind. These moments are like the precious pearl. We must use them positively. If we sit for a while and meditate on our bed, visualizing the devine light and attuning our mind to the Higher Self, we can utter some positive thoughts. I love so much the tradition of Hindu. They after the morning routine of cleanliness they do sit in their prayer room and do the enchanting to the Divinity. They recite the Manthra even for thousand times. Some sit and write the manthra on a paper, the same positive affirmation for 1000 times and then they begin their day. Repeating the manthra early morning has so much positive to offer. Selecting the positive thoughts in the morning is for our gain

There will be a lot of thoughts that are going to flow right through our mind. That it is really going to flow in and out right out of are mind. There are going to be many times where the thoughts are going to stir. Now there are a lot of thoughts that will not make sense, there are going to be a lot of thoughts where we should not really act upon or state. When I wake up, my first thought is, "it's too early to think." There are a lot of times where I think, and there are going to be thoughts that are going to relax me. There are going to be times where it is going to keep me rather sane. It is going to keep me from slipping and sliding to say the very least. It is rather going to be a great way.

Every morning I wake up with a difference than before. Earlier it used to be dragging myself out of bed and thoughts full of worries for the day. Nowadays, I wake up with positiveness. I tell myself it is a great day and God has created it for me to enjoy. Learning to take command of our day right from waking up is indeed what all of us need to do.

My first thought this morning - if you call 3:30 a.m. "morning" - was "Why is the cat meowing in my face when the sun isn't even up yet?" The best start to the day, for me, is to feed the cat (otherwise she'll just keep meowing), make coffee and walk out into the back garden with it, barefoot. Fresh sea air, the sun coming up, hot coffee, the birds singing... lovely.

Your thoughts are highly transparent....which indicate the importance of living. And also give the value of an early morning atmosphere. The Hindu culture has very neatly designed the style of living which is effective of making a person well prepared to lead a happy and peaceful life provided we practice. And practice comes only by practice and goes into a habit. Very few of them make use of this morning time who are the real benefices of the advantage of the early morning hours....

I always forgot my mantra which is "I trust my own instinct" good thing that you started this discussion. How I wish I can do what they practice but in so many chores and works I can't remember my mantra.
