A newly discovered planet is similiar to earthand is sitting outside our solar system in whats seem to be the ideal place to life. The Planet's confirmation was announced Monday by NASA along with other Kepler Telescope discoveries. Anyone want to move there..?

Before that, I would like to know why don't they tell the truth about Enceladus? Don't you think there is life on Enceladus?

KEPLER 22B is the name of this planet and it's 2.4 times bigger than earth but the problem/'good news' is it's 600 light years far from us. They have already found another planet which is also earth like and it's only 20 light years far from us, it's name is GLIESE 581G and it is 1.5 times bigger than our planet. I would rather like to travel to GLIESE 581G first and I would certainly prefer to walk for the sake of Universal warming

If our Earth was in great danger and we needed to keep human life alive I would go. However, nothing major is going on with Earth right now so more research would have to be done before I would actually consider visiting a new planet similar to Earth because you never know what kind of diseases are on the new planet. In addition, we don't even know what kind of life is there yet, or if we would be at the bottom of the food chain or not.

I will file my application with NASA if the agency decide to shuttle anyone to this new earth like planet, chances are it is not going to happen, NASA will want to keep it a secret for its own scientist and astronaut first before anyone is allowed to visit.

I saw that on the news and read it in the papers. I was amazed to hear that. Although I always thought that there had to be other planets out there like earth. After all, every star is a sun and every sun has it's own orbits. So, it only makes sense. But right now we cannot get there. In the future I am sure it will be a lot like Star Trek.
