The recent news is that a new drug, called a "notch inhibitor", stops the stem cells becoming resistant. The recent research tends towards prolonging life. The application of chemotherapy drugs are very much effective to fight cancer. The new hope for menkind is that a few months of modern chemotherapy and the five years of endocrine therapy can definitely prolong life. The Chemotherapy has severe side effects and it is very painful. This chemotheraphy can be applied against the a substantial risk of cancer returning once again. It has been opined that women drinking more than four cups of coffee a day can reduce endometrial cancer. The intaking of coffee is protective against diabetes due to its effect on insulin. However the rsistence against cancer is a complicated process. Much depends upon the psyche of the patient. If the patient desires his or her life for a higher motivation with determination to fight cancer, then he may resist to it and even can be cured from it.

Does chemotherapy work?According to the books I read, the probability that a cancer patient who is treated through chemotherapy will survive is just about 3 percent. It is almost equal to zero.It means that very few get healed through chemotherapy.Scientists have to find newer and more effective ways to fight cancer because chemotherapy seems to not work. Why don't they try ginger also?I read that ginger stops cancer cells from growing and makes already grown cells kill themselves.:)

Clearly, the field of medicine has made ??much progress on the treatment and prevention of some diseases such as cancer.
Unfortunately, and this is my opinion, much remains to be done to permanently eliminate these nasty illness.
I repeat, we must never underestimate the new medical discoveries. They can save our lives and maybe not make us suffer any more
