What is netlog.com?

I received a message from someone on Triond today. They said they saw my profile on netlog.com. I have never been on netlog. How could they possibly have seen my profile there? Is there anyone here who is on netlog who can search for some kind of profile of me there? I am confused.

They either have you confused with someone else or they're actually spamming a link for netlog (probably for a paid task or something) and disguising it as a comment.

I didn't use the link (actually she didn't provide a link). I checked the website through my search engine myself. Hmmm... I had problems with my "service provider" after that. Not having problems today though. Curiouser and curiouser.

I've never heard of it either, but a quick search shows that you have to be a member to get into the site. Maybe someone else made a page for you, or it could just be a very clever spam...

Yeah, I checked the website which proposed to be another networking site, but can't get any further because I'm not registered. I don't know who this person is and I'm not going to become "their friend". Sure they could have found me through Triond, by why claim they found me on a website I'm not actually on? That's what has me curious.
